There of good quality. I wish they were louder for playing music. Sound quality is excellent. ANC is good. I feel it could be better. But good price.

Thank you for your review. Often the maximum volume will be set by the device you are using the headphones with. For high-quality, high volume listening of lossless files on a computer, some people opt to use the headphones via the cable with an audio interface or DAC. As for the volume via Bluetooth on a phone, these volumes can sometimes be limited by the device, although typically the volume segments when listening to music on your phone would be considered optimal for the headphones. The headphones are relatively low-impedance, which means that the headphones can reach quite high volumes on amplified devices, but I still believe it is good to listen to the music at a reasonable level (not too loud) for the highest quality listening. I hope this helps. Take care :)

No lossless bluetooth codec. Good style and good quality with changable earpads and cable. Sound great with cable.

Hello, thank you for your review and comments. Was the lossless Bluetooth codec what dropped your rating by 2 stars? We believe the quality and high standards of its components and audio profile make up for the missing codecs: we focus instead on the codecs that can be used by everyone regardless of their connecting device. We hope you are able to enjoy them nonetheless.

Purchased these headphones in November 2023. Loved them at first, sound quality was great, fits my head snuggly but in the past few weeks they have deceloped a chatter and rininging noise when nothing is playing. Will have to go through manufacturer to try and get a new pair.

Ear pad stitching quality is sub par.. started to separate at seam after two uses.. otherwise, these headphones are excellent quality. Also do wish they would play a bit louder.

Hi Alam, thank you for your review and feedback. We are sorry to hear that you aren't satisfied with the microphone; it is important to note that the ANC is deactivated for phone calls. We hope you will enjoy the Monitor II ANC despite the microphone. If you have further concerns, don't hesitate to visit the store where you purchased them to discuss the issues with a store representative.

I think Bose is better. I bought it mainly for the looks. But it’s not bad at all.

The Marshall Monitor II headphones are a solidly built set of cans with Active Noise Cancelling and a few steam-punk styling choices (curled cords, a rippled metal finish and a gold joy-stick style control button) that will draw attention to the wearer. The headphones have satisfying heft and feel quite sturdy. The sound quality is very good and they are comfortable to wear. The ANC is good but not great. I have two other brands of over-the-ear noise cancelling headsets that do a slightly better job but not enough of a difference to be THE deciding factor in your choice. There is another factor though that is extremely annoying. These headphones appear to be very cranky about Bluetooth pairing. They simply refused to pair with either of our cellphones (different brands and manufacturers) but paired immediately with my laptop. That is the saving grace for me as my intent was to find a good pair of over-the-ears to use with my laptop when I travel. These work great with Windows Sonic, Dolby for headphones and DTS Headphone:X so they are a keeper for me. I encourage you to consider these headphones but keep your receipt just in case you can't get them to work with your phone!

Hello, thanks for your feedback and the review. When pairing the headphones to your phone(s), make sure that you are holding the Gold Knob in long enough that the LED light cycles from white to a DEEP BLUE. The Deep Blue light indicates that the headphones are in pairing mode. The While LED light indicates that the headphones are powered on. If you continue to experience issues, please reach out to support@marshallheadphones.com for assistance.
