I bought this as an open box - excellent/perfect condition. excellent condition means no physical flaws or scratches which i chose for $80 dollars more than the good condition one. good/fair condition means that it might have some minor scratches and flaws which i think this was the product i received. when i received it, it had a lot of scratches and very visible lines on both sides. (attached images) The problem here is they provided a low price product for the higher price product. Very unethical providing something different than advertised. Anyways, this is a very good and nice product. i love it.

Does not connect to Alexa as it claims in the description. Customer service will not help you unless you agree to pay $38 a month. Best Buy also will not help you unless you pay. I should not have to pay to get a newly purchased item right out of the box that will not do what it was advertised to do. It connects to phone just fine. Has great sound as long as you are standing in front of it. Behind it or to the side the sound is lacking. I will be returning this product. I'm completely frustrated with it.
This review is from Marshall - Stanmore III Bluetooth Home Speaker with Bass / Treble / Volume Controls and 3.5 mm Auxiliary / RCA Inputs - Cream

Hello Karcar, thank you for your review and feedback. The Stanmore III should be able to connect to an Amazon speaker as a Bluetooth device, there are instructions on how to do so in the Amazon Alexa help center articles. Marshall Support doesn't require any payments for assistance, the Support Team is available through the official online website via email or Live Chat at no cost. If you still have the speaker, please reach out to our Support Team for assistance.

not that great , base comes and goes when played loud

Hello Joanna, thanks for your review. The bass cutting out when played really loud is a safety feature in the speaker that protects the speaker components if a signal is coming through at a level that can damage the parts. Sounds like the Woburn III with is more suitable to your music volume preferences!

I bought an open box item in "excellent condition". The first one I got was a Marschall Bluetooth speaker of a different model and the second one I got, was a "not-so-excellent condition'". Luckily I could return them without any problems.

Volume is too low, quality is very cheap. I'm sure it's counterfeit. I have contacted Marshall with this situation. This is not Marshall's fault. Beware of any purchase made on Best Buy.

Hi William, thank you for your review. Something sounds off here, Best Buy has been one of very dependable retail partners for some time. We encourage you to return to Best Buy with the speaker to follow-up on this, thank you.

The sound is great but the speaker itself is so irritating I wish I had bought something else because of one thing: It shuts off. That's right. If you walk away for 20 minutes and come back, it will be shut off, so you have to CONSTANTLY turn it back on, again and again and again. Terrible design. It has no battery, it has to stay plugged in at all times.

Hello Amber, thank you for your review and feedback. The Homeline III speakers are stationary speakers, they do not have batteries and will have to be plugged in to a power source in order to function. The speakers have a standby mode which will kick in after 10 minutes if the speaker has not been used or interacted with in anyway. The speaker can be woken up by touching any of the dials or buttons on the speaker itself or through the Marshall Bluetooth app. We hope this helps and that you will be able to enjoy the speaker despite this functionality.
