Featuring the same Folded Motion Tweeter and woven fiberglass woofer as the rest of the Motion CI models, the MC8 is all about “more.” MC8 can handle more power, produce more output, and deliver more bass when the fullest performance is desired. An optional retrofittable back enclosure is available for applications where sound control is needed. All MartinLogan Motion CI Series speakers feature our signature Folded Motion Tweeter or FMT. The CCM7.5 S2 is a high-performance in-ceiling speaker for use in theater and stereo applications. Its configuration includes a 1" Carbon Dome tweeter and a 7" Continuum midbass driver angled to the mounting surface, allowing for easy direction of the whole array towards the listener to ensure they hear the correct balance of sound. That way, dialogue is crystal clear and special effects come across accurately. Thanks to Bowers & Wilkins unique QuickDogs fixing method, installation is simple and if preferred, the supplied round grille can be replaced with an optional, square grille.

The “HT” version of the XTC8 features a fixed angle mounting of the tweeter and woofer in order to provide a massive improvement in performance for listeners who are farther away. This is the perfect choice for when a speaker must be mounted apart from where the listener will be standing, walking or sitting, like in a home theater. The same holds true in whole house music systems where speakers can be located farther away from where the listener spends most of their time. In situations like this, the angled “HT” models provide a very real, and very noticeable increase in performance. The MartinLogan Motion XT CI series takes performance to the next level over Motion CI.
