The MP500 V2 is a 2-channel, Multi-Purpose, DSP amplifier with up to 500 watts of power on tap. In 2-channel mode it outputs 125w x 2 at 8 ohms or 225w x 2 at 4 ohms and when in bridged mode it can output up to 500w x 1 at 8 ohms. While MP500 can be used to power nearly any speaker, the selectable onboard DSP presets focus on optimizing all MartinLogan Outdoor products, such as the MartinLogan Outdoor Foundation System, and Custom Installation subwoofers. MartinLogan engineers also went the extra step to make sure that the MP500 V2 could even drive dual subwoofers! The following MartinLogan subwoofers are supported by the MP500 V2’s “Dual Subwoofer” DSP presets to ensure powerful and reliable operation: Dynamo IW-S, Dynamo IW-O (with or without Back Box), Outdoor Living Subwoofer 8. With this and many other features, the MP500 V2 is one of the most versatile custom installation amplifiers on the market!
Class-D Power

DSP Presets
MartinLogan engineers created performance optimized DSP presets (for select MartinLogan CI/Outdoor speakers) ensuring you get incredible sound and reliability. MartinLogan custom subwoofer DSP presets also include an optional low pass filter option to help support your custom install.

Featuring a robust, yet quiet, active cooling system to keep things under control even under extreme playback. With no user intervention required, the cooling system engages as needed to keep the air flowing and the components cool. Maximum reliability, minimal noise.
Flexible Inputs
MP500 V2 has Stereo RCA, Digital Coax, Digital Optical, and a dedicated Subwoofer (LFE) input offering plenty of flexibility to directly connect your favorite source or by connecting directly to the “Subwoofer Output” of your AVR or other electronic device.
Power Density
When multiple amps are needed, an included connector bracket is available to mount 2 units side by side in the same rack space. With a 1U height and half-rack width, MP500 V2 makes efficient use of your valuable rack space allowing you to run up to 4 subwoofers in a single rack space!
