This microwave is so nice compared to our old 2009 no name brand one that was as loud as a freight train and was originally white but now almond colored. This was a huge upgrade for us. This has everything i need and is so nice and quiet so it doesn't wake my 1 year old while she naps. I was able to install it myself with the help of my husband only to lift it for me. I really do love this unit.

I bought this, in March we installed it in May I was really pleased with my purchase till yesterday... that I notice the light is dead ( all full /low ). It sucks to write this in place of a happy review.... it disappoints me because I bought this one for the brand that trusted to last!

This is a bit larger than our old microwave. It comes with a two-speed exhaust fan that is very efficient on both speeds, and with a two-level light that is great on bright but only so-so on low. When cooking, the noise level is about as loud as the exhaust fan on high. Sounds pretty loud early in the morning when everyone else is asleep. The light is placed in the rear of the underside of the microwave so the front of the stove doesn't receive quite enough light. Kitchen time retains its countdown when you are cooking at the same time. Pleased with this purchase.

Pros: 10 year parts warranty on magnetron. Sturdy case and door Heats food more evenly than my cheap countertop microwave Continuous beeping if you forget your food. Cons: The 10 year warranty is misleading. Read the fine print. Limited parts warranty. Oh and by limited its only 2 parts. Dislike the orange range light. The light should be daylight so that you can tell the color of the food cooking. When the light is orange it makes the food look a different color. Hard to tell if food is properly cooked when the light is a misleading color. "GEE Is the chicken cooked? welp best I turn the kitchen light." I mean come on that light is useless as a cooking aid. Beeps are too quiet. Cant hear from living room. Grease filters ability to catch grease is very questionable. I wash grease off the re-circulation hole. There is a metal 10 year warranty advertisement badge on the front that does not come off. I bought the thing i don't want to continue to have an advert on it.

My last microwave still worked, but the plate spinner hadn’t worked since I got it over five years ago. It was a handed down microwave from a friend after he remodeled his kitchen, and it was much better than what I had previously. This is actually just the newer model of the one it was replacing, but it works so much better. Not only because the plate actually turns, but also because it has more power. The door also closes nice and smooth. I’ve overcooked a couple things, but only because I wasn’t adjusting my cook times for the fact that this thing just works better.

Replaced older model , I don’t have vent to outside, it is ice that vent is above , last one blew out the front , and it was hard to clean and got nasty looking , I love the clean smooth look , it doesn’t have a thousand presets , that I never used anyhow so that’s a plus , the light is a alittle further back , which is ok , works fine so far, as for setting it to cook if you don’t start for awhile you have to reopen door , it’s a nice safety feature , but at first it may seem like a mafunction,

We had to get a new microwave but didn't need some of the more expensive functions. As almost all our kitchen is Maytag this fit the bill perfectly. It did have a scratch but it wasn't visible once installed. The included diagram was backwards but the measurements were correct so that caused no problems. We have been very happy since purchasing almost a month ago and with 6 in our house it's getting a ton of use!

Microwave is quiet, easy to use, and heats the food properly. Also like how the door opens and closes with ease.

The Maytag over the counter microwave is great. It has a large capacity, easy to read and use controls and it works great and looks good. We would buy it again if given the chance.

Good microwave, noiser than the last, heats great door switch a little touchy and door seems flimsy

I replaced an old hood fan with this microwave and it fit just perfectly and was easy to install. The unit is beautiful and has a lot of versatile cooking functions.
