Looks great. Good installation instructions. Did it myself with help from someone to lift and place on wall Mount.

Good looking microwave oven. Install process went flawlessly. Need to be careful with drilling holes in overhead cabinet, with misaligned holes it will be hard to get the top screws into the oven. The back template was spot-on. Used this to fix the back bottom support. Oven has interesting orange led display. Has a lot of cooking options.

I got a great deal on this microwave and while I didn't really need to replace my tenant's old microwave which was still working I figured at the price I got why not. Tenants are very happy with it, it works well and looks good.

Model: MAYTAG MMV1175JZ This model replaces an older Amana that worked well, but the white painted surface started to flask off everywhere from repeated heat cycles. This seems to be a common issues with the painted interiors after awhile. Thus, we opted for a stainless steel interior this time. The Amana was working fine, but 1/3 of the interior paint falling off just got to be a pain…and cleaning it up every time to keep it out of food was iffy. We bought the exact same features we had before, a good solid 1000-watt model. No fancy stuff we will never ever use and those go bads don’t make it last loner EXCEPT the stainless interior! The 10 year warranty on the magnetron is nice in that it seems to say it will last but in 9-10 years, I doubt it will really be an advantage getting it fixed. The display board is another trouble spot. It functions as advertised. Plenty of cooking power and SHINY stainless steel room inside. It is quieter than the Amana and allows the TV to be heard when cooking. I can’t say it is the quietest, or if you will think it is quieter. That all depends on where you were before but for us, it is well quieter. The vent fan is noisy though, so that’s that. You won't miss the oven beeping at you anywhere in the house. Figure that's good or bad depending on if you are in the basement or upstairs and still want warm food I suppose. It is a nice looking oven, with a flat front and push button. I’m a handle kind of guy bit the push button seems OK now that we have it. We could not find a good model with SS and the handle, both, that was well rated and in the medium price range. The exterior finish does seem to keep finger prints in check. It's flat so no big deal, a swipe of glass cleaner and you're done. For all the downgrades on this model, they don’t make sense. It is what it is and yes, it has an orange display, it does NOT have a table on/off, it does NOT have three stage cooking or sensors. It is a good basic microwave oven. I can’t ding it for being what it is. Few offer a stainless interior and that’s the feature it has and was needed along with a decent price and durability rating. A porcelain finish would be OK, but the less reliable and more expensive brands offer that finish. We stayed with the better-rated MAYTAG based on consistent durability reports. Installation is fine except for one thing I still haven’t figured out. The template for the UPPER three holes (two bolts and the power cord) placed the two bolts perfectly, but the power cord hole was off a country mile in my words. I never moved the template making all three holes. The rear wall holes were fine with the template. Dead-on. For me it was no problem up top, as I had a one inch gap between the oven top and the cabinet (I used one-inch wood spacers under each of the two securing bolts to take up the space). How two holes can be perfect, and the third off was puzzling. I simply threaded the power cord over to the hole and slipped the excess between the top of the oven and the bottom of the cabinet. I could not get the template to recheck as it was tossed out before I mounted the oven and did all the prep work. My bad on that. If you install one of these things, slid the power cord through the template hole and align the front two holes on the oven and see what you got BEFORE drilling the upper cabinet. If you have a FLUSH top cabinet fit and require a perfect power cord alignment this step might save some grief. All in all a nice oven as long as it works as it is today. The Amana is 14 years old and still going, we have that to compare expectations to. They can last a good bit it seems. The build quality erosion seems to have tapered off from earlier years where stuff just got worse. This is nearly the same general build quality as the replacement oven for what that's good for. MAYTAG makes it's own design's even though Whirlpool ( a good rated oven too but no SS interior!) owns them. The Maytag is starting the real time quality journey. Our Maytag washer and dryer are 36 years old and just one new belt on the dryer!

Best Buy delivered and installed a Maytag over the counter microwave oven at our home. The delivery was as promised, on time and smooth. The Geek squad installation was professional taking great care to complete a clean and really good install. The microwave looks really good , was very reasonable to purchase and has operated well the past 2 days. It is backed by a 10 yr Magnetron tube warranty. Looking forward to a long life of this good looking unit.

This is a nice Microwave to be paired with the range. The inside is stainless steel nice for easy cleaning. I will say closing the door is louder than I'm not used to that maybe due to the stainless steel interior. It also doesn't heat up as quickly as I'm used too 30 seconds really needs a minute to heat up something quickly. Also the one touch features like popcorn and defrost are a little complex you have to touch multiple buttons before the feature can be used. It does give a quick guide inside the bottom part of the Microwave. It is easy to clean and fingerprint resistant works well too.

its big square and boxy looking. and with its stainless steel inside cooking area its very nice on the eyes. i love it. it looks soo professional looking. yes it takes up alot of space but i love a good big microwave. plenty of room for big dishes. very easy to clean inside and out with its stainless steel design. simple controls. i would ask someone to help install this. i did it on my own and it was very heavy. maybe 50ish lbs. try aligning this on a wall with one hand and securing it down.

The product took a while to arrive. That will NOT affect my review. The product was well packaged and in pristine condition when it did arrive. Fairly simple enough installation. My father-in-law did it. It took about two hours. All parts were in the box. Instructions were very clear. This thing is LIGHT!!! I mean LIGHT! Super quiet. Sleek look. I would buy this again and most certainly would recommend it!

I really like the feature of not having a door handle like my last microwave. The release is flush with the door and makes cleaning the surface easy. It is easy to operate and runs quietly. The stainless interior cleans easily. Exhaust fan turns on automatically when microwave is in use. Like the many preset cooking and defrost settings as it makes it simpler than guessing what power to use.

just purchased this for July 4th sale, Sold on Maytag products. I'm replacing this for a old over the range Maytag that I had since 1999, The Maytags are made to last. So I hope I get the same longevity. Did't have in black to match my other kitchen appliances. Black was back oredered by Maytag till Sept 2022. Old Maytag microwave was 1450 watts, this one is 1000 watts so a little longer to heat but does the job. I am sold on 10 yr warrantee of Magnetron & Cavity by Maytag so best warrantee of all the brands I considered

Upgraded from an old GE microwave. This one is so nice. I can actually be a part of a conversation while the fan is on. The defrost for meat is fantastic, old microwave would cook the ends of whatever you tried to defrost. Easy to clean with stainless insides, and sleek outside. Only thing I had to change was the fan direction for top exhaust and cut out some covers. Directions were easy to follow and very detailed. Very pleased with choice.

Took awhile to eventually get a good working unit as first one delivered had a problem. But between Best Buy and Maytag problems were solved and I am more than happy with this purchase. It is a large unit with stainless steel interior. Easy to keep clean.

This is a replacement for the microwave that was installed by the builder in 2012. In the two weeks I've had it, it serves its intended purpose. I mainly use it to warm/rewarm and prepare frozen meals. I was out of a microwave for over a month and I didn't realize how dependent I was on it. It shows an error message when the door is not properly closed, so I am careful to shut the door tightly. Some reviewers stated that their dinner plates didn't fit, but my 10 & 12 inch ones fit just fine.
