This depends on the hearing aids - it will pair with hearing aids that support a standard Bluetooth stereo audio connection (known as the A2DP Bluetooth profile), which allows them to be paired with standard Bluetooth audio sources and not just smartphones and tablets. There are some hearing aids that require specialized software, commonly known as "made for iPhone" (MFI) technology. Even though they support Bluetooth, these hearing aids are not compatible because they cannot be paired to Bluetooth audio devices that are not smartphones. There are also some hearing aids that require an additional Bluetooth accessory to pair with a standard Bluetooth audio device. These hearing aids will not work without said Bluetooth accessory. There is a lot of variation between different brands and models of hearing aids, so we always recommend contacting the manufacturer of your hearing aids to see if they can clarify for you whether the specific model you are using can be manually put in Bluetooth pairing mode and connected with a standard A2DP Bluetooth audio device. If the answer is yes, then they can also provide instructions for activating Bluetooth pairing mode on your hearing aids, which you will need to complete the pairing process.
