Tony Mello, member of a Vienna cafe orchestra, sees red when his girl Lilli gets a job as a singer and starts receiving and liking the male attention. Lilli's conducts an affair with a shady playboy. Driven to madness by her treachery, Tony attacks the playboy and lands in prison, eventually receiving parole but back on the outside his troubles really begin.
