This movie really depicts reality of urban struggle when brought up in a lifestyle you don't know any better than some would think you are being weak and falling for peer pressure but for you it only feels to natural and normal therefore you act on your instincts.

Menace to society is a gang classic movie that any movie collectors mis have. Nice peeeformance and drama, with full of action. This is a must have for any gangs movie collectors. One of the 90’s hood movie.

Packaging is excellent, neat slip cover that shows the characters through the roman numeral 2

I enjoyed this movie from the very beginning. There was plenty of action and kept you anxious to see what would happen next. The plot was true to way life was back then. Two thumbs up!

I loved watching Menace II Society in 4K. Great movie.

I missed this film in the 90's but the Hughes Brothers have made a memorable film on the vicious cycle of gang violence affecting low income neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Performances are solid and heartfelt and while some aspects might feel a little dated in terms of fashion the movie takes you into the heart of the neighborhoods that to this day, 24 years later, are struggling with same issues of poverty, drug addiction, and gang violence. Along with Boyz N The Hood, Menace II Society is an important film because of it's unflinching portrayal of the toll and horror of gang violence and neglect that our most vulnerable neighborhoods still face and that we all pay the price for each day the struggle continues because that's one more day that a child is forced to grow up under such dire conditions and potentially turn to crime as a solution. The movie at the very least encourages conversation and dialogue about where our country stands in regards to the most pressing issues affecting our urban population almost 25 years later.

I love this movie... it helps you learn about life and how crazy it is. Its a good movie to help you make the right choice.

Great classic hood gangsta drama. I had to pick this up in the 4k. I was shocked Criterion picked this up.

Classic 90s gangster movie- a good story. I watched with my yound adult sons and they liked the story as well in 2019.

I grew up in the hood and went to school in the hood. This movie was raw and was made to make a point.
