Meredith - Chante les tresors du Folklore Yiddish - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Yiddish folk music is a traditional Ashkenazi Jewish musical genre that emerged in Eastern Europe over the past centuries. It is characterized by melancholy melodies and often poetic lyrics that reflect the history and experiences of the Jewish people. Instruments used in Yiddish music often include the violin, accordion, clarinet and cymbalum. This music enjoyed a revival in the 1960s and continues to be appreciated today.
