This works for its use, but pretty bummed about the price. One of those necessary evils for owning the Microsoft surface.

We are constantly having to replace this third party power supply as it stops working in less than a year. Unfortunately there does not appear to be an alternative directly from Microsoft or anyone else.

I bought a surface computer 2 years ago, and have had to replace the cord 3 times now. When working, the cord is wonderful. But, the cords burn up like crazy. I thought it was my computer, but the guy at Geek Squad told me that these cords are just notorious for burning up quickly and having to be replaced. If this is the case, the price needs to be lowered significantly. I love the computer, but am very irritated by the fact that I have to keep buying a new cord in order to use it.

This keeps my Surface powered but it does not charge it. When I plug it in the laptop seems me that it will not charge it eve though this is the cord the Best Buy staff told Me was the only one available for the Surface.

Overpriced and does not last long. This is the third one I have had to buy in two years. Handy to have the USB port on the charging block, but that's about the extent of the positives.

too expensive for this, it is better get a cheap one

Way over-priced! The section of the cord that frayed was the part coming from the battery block toward the computer. It almost never got crimped during use, so how could it fail after 4-5 years? Would I recommend it? What else could I use?

I'm frustrated with this charger. While the speed for a recharge is fantastic, I've already required not 1, but 2 replacements in less than a year. The Geek technician indicated it's a common problem! THAT's a problem!

Charging cord is frail, can be easily broken if not handled gently .

This is the 3rd charger I have purchased. It would be nice if the cord that goes into my Surface Pro 4 was more durable. Also expensive to need replacing so often.

We needed a charger for our surface and decided not to use an off brand. So, it works perfectly fine, but I hate that it’s so expensive!

Does exactly what it is supposed top do but at a cost, $80 is far to expensive, especially as you can find an alternative elsewhere for $30 will the same build quality

Returned for less expensive product. This was an authentic Microsoft product so was 4x more expensive.

Charger works great but it's ridiculous they are so expensive just to provide power. It's a plug that cost less than 10$ to make and they charge $100

The charger I bought was defective, but Microsoft replaced it and the accompanying surface under warranty.

Extremely pricey. Should have been covered by warranty and that was it.

Cheaper non-Microsoft versions online ($30-35, not $100)

this is the third microsoft surface pro 65W power supply I have had to purchase. the connection where it plugs in and the wire part gets weak and stops working. price $91.00.

Product works like it i supposed to but for a charger the price is ridiculous.
