After giving up on my previous laptop due to a faulty battery, I gave in and bought a Surface as a replacement. The discount offered around Black Friday proved too tempting. I was conflicted between this and a MacBook Pro. I've had it for a while now and have no regrets with my choice, primarily due to the amount I saved choosing this over an Apple product (albeit I still love both). It's light-weight, versatile, and the keyboard it came with feels expensive.

Bought for work since my company uses Win10 and Citrix. Linked up extremely easily- I love Win10. Have an iPhone but will be looking into android or Windows phone in the future. Kids have iPads, they’re great also but this allows me to access work from home without my desktop. Also; use for light gaming and the accessories are amazing like Xbox controller, TV linkup etc. would not look back to Apple so long as products like this come from Microsoft.

It’s easy to use and the screen is crystal clear. I use it for work and watching movies

I am also manging projects and learning various aspects of my position. This is a wonderful computer to take on the go. Best purchase I made this year.

This is a nice computer. So far all programs are working fine. I had no time yet to explore all it can do but soon I will. I need to buy an extra key-board because the original is too plain (gray color - no fun). I am glad I made this purchase!

Device is so light, sleek and easy to store. Best PC/ Tablet combo I’ve seen in years and I hate tablets. Originally bought for writing and drawing (which this device is amazing for) but also decided download a few of my steam games on it and it runs them great! I can play GTA online from anywhere with out any issue or over heating. Everything on it so far has been lightning fast as well. From streaming movies to web surfing and uploading and downloading programs and files. Would definitely recommend buying the pen and keyboard bundle as well. It does have a small memory storage on it but that can be simplified by just buying a external hard drive or micro SD card. Would also recommend buying a carrying sleeve or case to avoid scratching as well. All in all great device.

I loved using my Surface Pro 3. I used that extensively for four years and then switched over to a Surface Laptop as my work became more desktop based than on the factory floor. Having picked this up for my wife who uses both the latop and tablet functionalities, I can tell that this device has only gotten better since its predecessors. The screen quality is amazing and plenty bright at 470 nits (more so than many other laptops) and the enhanced visual vs sRGB mode is a stunner. The performance is even better and best yet, it stays cooler under load (not nearly as warm). Sync in the pen and away you go with productivity. My wife is a lawyer who works on so many written files that this device perfectly complements that work (OneNote, Adobe, PDF, Office Suite, etc.). Super happy with the purchase and the refinements to this from previous generations is much welcomed. The keyboard is more responsive and more comfortable and studio mode (hinge all the way open) let's you literally dive into your work closer. She had a hard time trading in her MacBook Pro towards this device, but she's fallen quickly in love with the Surface Pro. More importably, the ability to do productivity better with ergonomics and the hardware + software combo this brings all in one package, is what matters at the end of the day.

So this is my first laptop I had bought in about 5 years and it has not disappointed me yet! I love that is can go from a computer to a laptop! It is super light which really helps a college students back! It’s super slim so it fits perfectly in your backpack even with all the books you have! And the battery lasts through all 6 hours worth of my classes plus all the hours spent on homework!

I loved this device. It worked amazing, fast and so easy to use. I have always wanted a surface pro but could never pull the tigger to buy one. A great sale and faboulus reviews sold me on getting this. I ended up getting the 256gb version as I did not feel 128 was going to be enough long term for my needs

I purchased this the painting and drawing function. The stylus pen is essential but you must buy separately. A little pricey for total package but you can't beat the quality. The Superbowl Pro tablet gets a little hot at times especially if you hold it in your hands or place it in your lap. The email function is just okay. You have to buy the keyboard. Which is another additional cost. All in all it is a nice package but expensive in comparison to other alternatives

This is the best computer/tablet I have ever owned in my life. I was skeptical if it would be worth the price, but I went for it and am glad I did. I am getting so much use out of it! It has a beautiful design, light weight, and the battery life is fantastic.

As a former macbook pro user and IT consultant, Microsoft has knocked it out of the park with the Surface series. The Surface Pro 6 is another step forward in what is now a proven product line. Performance is great, battery life is incredible (10 hours of heavy use), and the look and feel is awesome! The new quad core i5 processor is a noticeable improvement over the previous dual core model. For those of you that haven't used Windows in a long time and are still comparing iOS to Windows XP, 7 or the botched 8 series, Windows 10 is dramatically better and in my humble opinion every bit as good (and secure) as iOS if not better. Honestly if someone threw an apple logo on this it would be flying off the shelves for double the price. Save yourself the money and get one.

Surface boots quickly, screen is fantastic, typing on the cover is way better than I expected. There isn't an Apple product this easy to use with this many features and a touch screen for twice the price. I added an external dvd/rw drive to handle what I can't or don't want to do on the internet and this is a full service for me. I think the 8GB-RAM/256GB drive is a real sweet spot. I use Photoshop for amateur graphic projects, use a full suite of MS office apps and all my work is well under the limits of this machine. Battery life is more than adequate but the power brick is small enough to toss in a bag. I take it everywhere.

Ever since I laid my eyes on the Surface a few years ago, I was blown away with it. I finally managed to buy it and got this deal for $799 for the combo pack with keypad. What I love about it is the ability to run a full fledged laptop in a tab mode and the keypad is also very comfortable to use. By far, this is far better than an ipad or samsung tab , with the capabilities that it can achieve and the battery life is amazing Highly recommend it, but its more of a lifestyle device. I strongly believe that you need a proper laptop and this one can be used to supplement it as a mobile device

The best tablet/ laptop combo I've used (w/ type cover) and pen. Runs fast, lightweight, beautiful screen. All around winner for this style of device.

I love this laptop! It is super light and portable. I bought it with the detachable keyboard, which easily magnetically connects. Without the keyboard, it acts like a tablet, to where you can use it landscape or portrait, with a keyboard on the screen. Oh: the most fabulous part is how I can touch *anything* on the screen to get to where I want. I rarely use the mouse on the detachable keyboard. I love the touch screen access so much!! I find myself touching my work laptop screen wishing it would act the same, lol.

I had originally bought the Costco deal that included the pen but exchanged it for this model - same price, no pen, newer model. Totally worth it!! So fast, and has everything I need as someone who commutes on the train regularly. Lightweight and easy to carry, much quieter than my SSD laptop, I could go on but bottom line is there's a good reason Surface Pro's get consistently great reviews - they earn it. Very happy with this purchase, and happy to have bought it through Best Buy with their superior personal approach.

Been a fan of Surface since the beginning, but this is my first one since the original RT. Wow has a lot changed. Now the Surface is refined, sleek, and powerful. The screen size feels huge for as small as its specs say it is. Keyboard is spacious. Infrared camera for facial recognition sign in is something I never thought I needed. Computer is light. Battery lasts so long for me. I usually charge it once a week (serves as my in-meeting device and not my all day device). Pen performance is excellent.

This surface pro does it all. Im very pleased with everything about it. Super fast, screen quality is great, and light weight.
