Good keyboard. I don't actually use the fingerprint reader. Previous versions of the surface pro keyboard would attach perfectly every time. You could basically attach it in the dark. This one attaches fine, but requires a little more precision. I wish it fit the surface pen 2 a little better. It's made for the slim pen, though.

This keyboard works well. The only thing is if you don't have a pen in the new pen holder, it feels funny when closed and carrying around. I have no use for a pen.

much more responsive than its predecessors. Automatically connects; prior models required hard resets and contact cleaning. The contacts are covered instead of exposed. Good improvement

This keyboard is great. It works as soon as you attach it to the Surface Pro. The fingerprint reader is amazing. I've had no glitches with thr reader.

The keyboard is thin, with bright illumination when needed, and it is light weight. It snaps into place so easily I don't need to look at the alignment. Fingerprint reader works great. The charger snaps into place easily with no effort.

The finger print addition is more helpful that you will ever know. especially when you re in the dark or wearing a mask that MS cannot recognize you

It didnt last very long. This is my 2nd keyboard. Ive only had my surface pro a little over 2 years. Ive had this keyboard for a year and it's not working. I switched from Apple thinking the surface pro would work for me but I've had issues with it ever since I purchased it.

That's right - BestBuy gave me not 2 but 3 run arounds of wasting me time, stating this keyboard was in stock - I purchased it - drive to the store and it wasn't in stock. No apology - just attitude from the BestBuy employees.
