Q: Does the miele vacuum power plus upright have a belt? And how much is the filter?
A: Not sure if it has a belt, however it is covered enough that not easily jammed (like the Dyson). The bags are not cheap, but I got a bunch on Cyber Monday to last the year. I have 4 dogs and I need to change it more often then recommended. Not used to buying bags as replaced a Dyson, however the vacuum ability is so much better than the Dyson totally worth the cost. The bags can be bought at a lot of places online with coupons.
Q: Can you use this Miele upright on a wood floor without damaging it?
A: I’ve used mine on a wood floor without damage. Turning off the brush is easy!

Q: Is Best Buy an authorized reseller for Miele?
A: No, they are not and warranty is only one year as opposed to 5/10 year by a Miele Dealer
