The concept of 'signature sharpness' associated with Japanese knives refers to their exceptionally sharp blades. This sharpness is achieved through meticulous craftsmanship and the use of high-quality materials, such as revolutionary fine carbide FC61 steel, which holds an extremely sharp edge. Japanese knives are renowned for their ability to make precise cuts with minimal effort, providing a superior cutting experience.

The Miyabi Evolution 7-pc Knife Block Set is well-suited for a variety of cutting tasks and ingredients. The 3.5" paring knife is ideal for intricate work like peeling and deveining, while the 5.5" santoku knife excels at slicing, dicing, and mincing. The 8" chef's knife is a versatile all-rounder for chopping, slicing, and dicing larger ingredients, and the 9" bread knife effortlessly slices through crusty loaves.

The 9-inch steel in the Miyabi Evolution 7-pc Knife Block Set is a honing steel, used to realign the blade's edge and maintain its sharpness. It complements the other knives by helping to keep them in optimal cutting condition, enhancing their performance and longevity.
