The bag looks great but less than two weeks into school the top seams are ripping on the back strap part of bag.

I've had this backpack for a few weeks. Immediately after purchasing it, I read a lot of reviews about the fact that this pack wears out very quickly, particularly in regards to the zippers, so I've been keeping an eye out for that. So far the pack is in good shape. I carry my 17.3" work laptop in it, my 11.6" ultrabook for class, and my iPad, plus a small textbook and a few doodads, and everything fits really nicely. I am in no way pushing the limits of capacity in terms of size because just with those three electronics, a few pens and my ultrabook charger, the pack weighs upwards of 15 lbs (the pack weighs 2.3 lbs by itself). My purse would easily fit inside, but I prefer to distribute the total weight I lug around by carrying it separately. I like the fact that the pack is solid black--other brands seemed a little more college-y in appearance and I wanted something that looked a little more professional (insofar as a backpack could do that). I'm a pretty small woman (5'2) and I was able to adjust the straps to wear comfortably on both shoulders, although I admit I normally wear it with one shoulder strap, and the weight centered on my back. I'm only going from the car to my desk and back--if I had to travel with it, I would definitely wear it on both shoulders. One review mentioned being conked on the head by the top handle when wearing it on both shoulders, and I admit I experienced a bit of that when I had to lean forward. I don't do that very much so it isn't an issue for me, but be aware of the possibility.

Holds it all. Well constructed bag to haul the goods. Only downside of the bag is the size. It is a large bag.

the bag is big enough for two laptops, i carry two 17.3 inch laptops sometimes and it fits well, but I also wish the pocket for the wallet is a bit bigger, and it doesn't really have a good place for the phone. But I like the design and the generous space it has for laptops and iPad/tablet.

This is a great backpack. This is my second backpack I use for school, only when I need to take my laptop to school. It has lots of attachment pockets and it does hold some of my school books too. It fits my 17.3 inch laptop very snugly. Plenty of padding for holding the laptop too so I'm not worried about it when I travel with it.

Bought this for my husband as a gift and he was over the moon to receive it! There are so many pockets and compartments to hold absolutely everything you could think to need! It's a little pricey for a backpack, but the protection it offers is worth it. Even the cashier in the store was impressed with it when I was picking it up!

This is one cool back pack with plenty of room for assessories. I highly recommend because it fits seventeen inch computer.

Perfect backpack for new Alienware 17" laptop, which is quite heavy. It's not too cramped or too loose fitting. Laptop very secured, protected. Enough space to hold additional smaller laptop, plus other accessories. If you plan on traveling frequently with your gaming laptop this is the perfect carrier.

It's big enough for my 17" laptop and has plenty of space for books, notebooks and lots of other necessities. It has started to fray a little around the zippers but I trimmed the strings and it has seemed to stop for now. I've had it about 5 months and it's been great so far.

Bought this as an early Christmas gift for my big brother. He was using a 15" backpack to carry his Alienware m17. Needless to say he loves it. He was impressed by the storage capacity and the different compartments. You wouldn't think it had all that just by looking at the pictures. I wanted one after he opened the box. He's had it for a while now and it still looks great. And with Best Buy's discounted pricing, it's and even better deal.

This bag is perfect for the laptop i bought. I like the way it feels when carrying on my back, almost feels like it isn't there. The only thing is the zipper part where the laptop was tore when i received it. I didn't notice till a week later being i didn't open that part immediately, but i would purchase it again. Fits everything i need for work in the bag.

Works great for what I need it for. I use it on my motorcycle so it work for me.

It could be slightly biased since I have an alienware laptop which this was made for but this still should work perfectly with any 17 inch laptop. Lots of pockets and space for many things and great for travel.

I love this bag! The laptop fits perfectly. It has lots of useful compartments. It is sturdy and not too heavy. It is designed to make TSA checkpoint reviews faster. I would definitely recommend this bag.

Love it!!! Laptop fits perfect. Good compartments for little accessories. Nice cushioning on arm belts.. helps with weight of laptop. Additional support helps not stress back as well.

This bag holds my large laptop and all my school books good quality and durable. I have a very large laptop..ovet 17 inches..and it holds it fine with plenty of room to spare.

This Alienware backpack for 17.3 inch laptop, is very well built, it has more than enough storage for your accessories. My Asus 17.3 laptop fit perfectly.
