It's pricey but aesthetically and functionality A+
I bought this when I was traveling and in a jam.Generally I buy accessories like chargers and headphones as cheap as possible, or when I know I can get a good deal, however i splurged on this chord and I couldn't be happier with the product. It chargers the phone remarkably fast, and the blue lighting looks really cool. Whenever I use this in public people always are drawn to it. I also like the texture of the chord, apple products have recently started to put a kind of plastic adhesive on the chord that gives it friction when it rubs up against other chords, that make traveling a pain, The smooth plastic never gets tangled which is a major issue I have with other chords electronic charging chords. It's a bit pricey... but if you want a chord that will handle wear and tear with a cool aesthetic perk to it... this charging/data transport chord is for you.

Great USB cable for Apple iPod, iPhone, and iPad!
A friend of mine has this cable. I was drawn to the lightning of the USB cable as it charges. I was on an international trip and I did not have my power pack with me. So, my iPhone kept running out of power because I used my phone all day and night. Upon my return home, I purchased this cable to use with my power pack. I highly recommend this Modal USB cable and the lightening is a bonus especially when it is dark. All you see is the lights moving as your device is being charged! It comes in two colors: blue and silver. I plan to purchase the silver cable as well.

Very cool and tough cable.
The cables lights up with a pattern to simulate the power that is going to the phone when charging. After the phone is fully charged the light pattern slows down to indicate trickle charging. This is helpful to see if your phone is fully charged from a distance without checking your phone. The charging connection has extra insulation to reduce wearing and exposing the wires.
