Q: Are any damages done to the phone due to case incompetence covered? The case chipped at the bottom corners with a fall and allowed damage done to the phone. Isn't that what cases are suppose to keep from happening?

A: No. Cases are of minimal protection unless you spring for an OtterBox or some other heavy-duty case. Even then, there is no guarantee of serviceability with a case unless it states that it has specific protection and/or liability coverage. Cases are generally for show or to keep the phone from getting banged around in a purse, a pocket, or the center console of a car. I don't want to harp at you, but a cellphone is probably the third most expensive item you'll ever own in your life (after a house and a car). Take better care of it - phones are glass and electronics packed into less than 1/2 an inch of thickness. What do you expect will happen when you drop it?

Q: Would the rose gold, pink glitter, or lavender one look good on a black iPhone 7 Plus?

A: Not sure which color would look better but my rose gold case looks great on my black iPhone.

Nice cover
This cover matches the color and fit very well with my wife's new pink/gold iPhone 8+. It is leather and feels very nice. My only concern is that it's not nearly as protective as an OtterBox or some other waterproof/security case. It's more for show and to keep the phone clean, so if you use Apple insurance a lot and are not careful with your $1,000 phone (!), you should probably get a different case. If you never drop, damage, or spill stuff on your phone (which we don't), this is a fine case.

Great looking case with an executive feel.
I purchased this case knowing that it wouldn't offer the best protection, but I already have a case that has the protection I needed. I was looking for something a bit more stylish, something that had some pop to it, and I found all of that when I noticed this case. I like it so much that I've taken the risk of not putting back on the case that offers better protection just because this one looks so cool. When I buy my next iPhone I will definitely be looking to buy another one of these cases.
