I had the official Apple iPad cover on my last iPad, and while it was nice, it was also 2x as much as this Modal cover. This is a snap in unit vs. the Apple's magnetic cover. The Apple cover only protects the front, while the Modal cover protects the front and back. It also features a two color cover (black/gray) depending on how you fold it over.

This case was a steal and works great! The device shuts off when closed and it is lightweight. It is not padded, but provides nice surface protection.

Excellent case for minimal protection. Magnetic stand works great especially when traveling on airplane. Lightweight and not bulky is very appealing.

I needed a cover for my IPad mini and bought this one. It works well to keep my device protected. I like the feature where I can fold it over and use it as a stand. The only thing I might add is some kind of strap handle to make it easier to hold the iPad with one hand while using the other one to operate the device.

I use my cover for my iPad a lot especially when watching movies and I flip it to stand up and it works perfectly. No issues at all for an inexpensive case. I just wish there were better designs in this case.

Very good slimline case, only negative is that it does not have a sleep/wake magnet. Also reversible which is a nice touch. Also beats paying $100 for front and back of the Apple case.

This case is good quality and good for protection and stand up, but inconvenient for camera usage.

Lightweight, but durable. Doesn't add too much to the overall weight. Design allows for either grey or black color - an added plus. Design also allows you to prop up your mini - a double plus!

Everyone has plain color. My wife loves this. Can choose pink (like everyone else- single color) or the flowered cover. She gets many compliments on it. Also protects back of ipad (not just the screen).
