Perfect for notes I need at work, while also being just hipstery/whimsical enough inside to make me feel like I could write a travelogue in it. Quality paper, good binding, easy to write in.

Like the cover, the size, the paper, the page marker, the elastic to hold the book closed and the color.

I love this Moleskine Notebook. It is lightweight yet very sturdy. Fits perfect into most handbags! The pages do not bleed when written on and the pages stay tight in the notebook even after a lot of use. The purple is a very nice color!

Second one of these I purchased as a gift for my girlfriend. She loves it. The color helps it stand out as hers. Quality paper inside, solid binding and cover outside. Keeps up with day-to-day work while still looking almost classic.

I've been a fan of the moleskine product line for years. I was introduced to them as an art student 20 years ago and to this day I still enjoy using them. Despite having laptops, phones, and all the technical doodads I still like to take my notes in the meeting the old-fashioned way with a beautiful pen and a good moleskine. I especially like the Yellow ones since black got boring after a few years. Iknow rotate through the different colors. They may cost a bit more than you're used to paying for a typical notebook but once you buy one and start using it you'll understand why. The quality of the sewn in paper binding works and takes a heck of a lot of abuse and holds those pages in nice and tight and square.

Beautiful brilliant violet journal. Love this shade of purple. Nice quality paper. Size is perfect, not to big or too small.

Good gift for a friend who likes to write. They are more than other brands but very well made and make a nice place to take notes that WONT fall out after bending the pages a few times.

These hardcover journals are great. The hardcover allows you to have the book in your lap and be able to take notes, unlike the softcover versions which can be difficult to write in without a tabletop. The pages are pretty thick - if you write with pencil you cannot see it on the reverse side of the page, but with dark ink you can.

A thick hard cover protecs the paper well. I feel good just tossing it in a backpack without worrying if any pages are bent.

It's pricey, but it's durable and well constructed. I personally like the premium notebooks that Cross puts out better because they have pockets and an a loop of binding on the spine to stick a pen in. Still a solid notebook!

I bought this because I had heard they are a good product. I like to carry a paper note taking book with me. This is very handy and light weight to carry in my backpack. Good quality. I also bought the matching pen, which is flat to keep right in the book.

Love the bright color, I can clearly see it in the dark recesses of my bag. Easy to write in, a bit of ghosting depending on what you use to write but otherwise a great size for traveling and everyday use!.

The cover is extremely soft and easy for the hands to touch. It has a wrap band to keep the journal closed. The size is perfect for carrying in hand. Great journal!
