Great value with this option. I have not had a chance to test the full range but works great for around the house. Battery life can be short when you have Bluetooth and things turned on but it’s great that you can plug in to recharge. Lots of user settings, vibrate only, pair to phone via Bluetooth, weather alerts, several alert tones to choose from. The belt clip is a little flimsy, I would rely on it if hiking or hunting. Good looking product design.

Bought these so the wife and I could easily communicate as we caravaned across the country in separate cars. I was satisfied with our purchase. Obviously range and experiences are going to vary. I like they had an open band feature so we could talk hands free while driving. Id buy them again for this reason.

I was utilizing them in a prison with thick walls and was able to communicate with co workers pretty well.

My wife broke her leg a year ago, and I bought these as a quick way to talk with one another when on separate floors. They are clear, the weather is a nice feature, and they work great. My wife broke her other leg a few moths ago, so they came in handy again!!!

Bodies to use on a road trip between multiple vehicles in I got admit, I honestly didn’t believe they would work up to even 5 miles apart but the things actually work two up to about 15 miles apart on the road and that was beyond minor site so I’m kind of impressed

Love them! Excellent for my daughter and i, very easy to use and the grand kids love and use them too. Great product for everyday and special projects communicate!

They worked good for the purpose of being in the woods deer hunting with my son's. It was a pretty terrain area and they were approximately 1I mile apart and they were worked sufficient.

These are pricey but have the ability to send text messages like a micro cell tower. They also work with some older model Motorola’s. Buy only if you want to play with them since they have little practical use inner city. I have noticed very little to no interference but I chalk that up to very few people using the public frequency. To check if they work with older models you should do some research on frequencies that are available to the public.

We hit 5 miles with simple terrain and houses in between.

The range is reasonably good in a densely populated area with lots of houses and buildings. We haven’t tried them in a field or a rural environment, but they are very easy to use and clear inside of mile or so.

I haven't been able to test the maximum distance advertised, but from a couple of miles in the woods it seems to do a good job.

A lot of features… these walkie talkies work great for our hiking and camping trips.

Work great the text messaging works excellent with no issue

The sound and clarity form these as well as range are great and just what I expected from Motorola. I have to say that they really put a great package together

Went on a road trip and with a friend in another car (in front of me) the reception was horrible. Hard to hear on both low and high power PTT. Even on trails it was bad as well. Bluetooth capabilities are deceptive, only meant for phone app with no audio. Headset requires a 2.5mm (not a standard 3.5mm). I recommend to go out to Motorola and download the manual before purchasing. Make sure it will fit your needs. Not worth the money in my opinion. I'm sure there's better options for the money.

We use these when skiing. Most have for families who get separated.
