Overall this is very close to deserving the full 5 stars. Performs well, is incredibly small, and the software is pretty helpful. I can monitor temperatures and limit battery to 60% since it’s usually charging anyways. Runs games and clip studio paint with my Wacom tablet pretty well. The keys also feel REALLY nice versus cheaper membrane keys, best laptop keys by far. Now to talk about the problems. All of them are pretty minor, but worth noting: I see the occasional stutter in this laptop. It may be a driver issue, but out of the box I should not have weird lag issues on the Lock Screen. Doesn’t affect games or anything, but with my 4070 desktop, a previous 4050 Acer Nitro 17 laptop I’ve given away as a gift, and my older two desktop builds with a 1070TI and a 1080TI, I’ve never seen this problem, especially out of the box. However, it is very likely drivers, and I’m not incredibly concerned. Being a small laptop, I think the fans being loud is understandable. However, opening the computer and instantly having fans on jet engine mode before I get through the Lock Screen can be very confusing, especially after taking time to remove all of the bloatware. My third and final issue: MSI center is stuck on the taskbar and will not stay unpinned. Many fixes online are available, but include deleting files. They also didn’t work. Why is this an issue MSI?

It's a good enough laptop for the money. The 15.6In version of the Cyborg is a much better value but if you want small & compact then this is your ticket. Both the RAM & M.2 SSD can be upgraded. The best time to buy this laptop is on sale.

Awesome little laptop with big power. It’s played EVERYTHING I have thrown at it from Company of Hero’s to S.T.AL.K.E.R.2. Compared to my Alienware R17 this runs great.
