The MSI MAG 272 was a great pickup for me while browsing the store. A higher than average quality monitor while also within the $100 to $200 price range. This was a solid pickup, as it has 200Hz while also having 0.5ms which is great to have in competitive gaming. A great pickup!
I have no gripes against this monitor very good very nice quality great size and for the money I pay it was really good only reason I had to return it is the young one did not stay good for Christmas so it got returned but if it was for me I would keep it in a heartbeat. Stand by MSI products they're always reliable from my experience and years of using them

I am 86 years old and my screen went out. I needed a new one because I live on my laptop. I called Best Buy and spoke with a wonderful young man and we talked about the best thing I needed and he suggested what I purchased my grandson installed it and I am absolutely loving the size of the picture and the colors and the dips and no problems. Yay.

My old LG monitor gave up so I had to look for a similar one. This time I went with MSI. Like my LG before I had to color calibrate using windows and now the picture looks much better. Things I did like, enhanced picture makes some games look really sharp and some textures look more detailed without fiddling with the in-game settings. I was quite surprised. It has some preset settings for FPS. RTS, etc they look nice but you can get better results doing manually. Things I didn't like much, the connections DP 1.2 and HDMI2.0. my ancient GTX 1660 super supports DP 1.4. It works but you won't get HDR as good then again this monitor is not HDR 400 so keep that in mind. I haven't use the HDMI, accordingly it should handle HDR slightly better but I believe it doesn't support G Sync also games need to support HDR in order to use it. It's a decent 1080p monitor that out of the box the image is ok but once you calibrate a little bit the image becomes much better.

My son just built his second PC and this is the monitor that he requested due to its specs. I am not tech savvy and have no idea what half of it means but he is elated and can’t get over the graphics and the quality of the monitor. So moms with gaming boys I would highly suggest this monitor if ever in doubt.
