MSI - MAG B650 Tomahawk WIFI (Socket AM5) AMD B650 ATX DDR5 Wi-Fi 6E Motherboard - Black

This motherboard has been perfect for my pc! I wanted to find the balance between price to performance and this motherboard is it! It pairs well with my MSI 4080 graphics card and it offers all the features I wanted at a great price! The only problem I had was a slow bootup time but the solution was to go into the BIOS and put "Memory Context Restore" to enabled. This helped the slow boot up time and I haven't had any problems since!

Built a new system with the AMD Ryzen 7800 X3D (socket AM5). I was looking for a solid motherboard at the top of the B650 category. MSI's Tomahawk came highly rated and this board did not disappoint. Easy set up and great bios. The aesthetic is a no frills simple black everywhere. Plenty of ports around especially if you want to add LEDs or such, I opted for three Corsair LED fans on the front of the system. Only drawback is PCIe 4.0 instead of PCIe 5.0. However, currently all graphics cards are 4.0 and even the M2 PCIe 5.0 hardrives give that more of a performance boost based on day-to-day usage--so I opted for more storage (4TB) at the lower 4.0 speed which was a good trade off. All around, very happy with this board and the new PC build.

This motherboard is great, it’s good for overclocking, it supports a great chipset, ddr5, gen 6 pcie and so so much more it’s a wonderful motherboard

Great mobo. Had all the connections, ports, and features I needed. And the MSI BIOS and RGB controller softwares are pretty intuitive to use.

This is a great motherboard! It feels solid, lots of ports, easy to set up, and the bios is pretty clean.
