Q: Is this compatible to iPhone 11max and mac
A: I am going to be one of those people that answers, but really don't know, so sorry in advance. It has a USB-C and Apples lightning. We have been able to charge anything that has a USB-C including a chrome book. I am not saying it charged the chrome book fully, but it helped it limp along until we got to the charger. As for the apple products...my wife has an iPad mini 2 pro....what ever it is. I am not an Apple guy. It charges that with no problem. So I would say it would be fine for the phone no problem. The Mac, your guess is good as mine, but I would not be surprised if it did not. Laptops can be squarely.
Q: Would this work with a Galaxy Note 8?

A: On the device there is a charger for the iPhone 10 and whatever else is compatible with that. There is also the Veats charger. But there is a port that you could connect any charger wire. So pretty much the answer is Yes.
Q: Can the case of the mycharger be engraved?
A: I would certainly think the case could be engraved. It appears to be metallic and of a suitable thickness. It's sturdy.
