I thought my 6-year-old 1080i Samsung 65" tv was still amazing, And I almost considered an LG C9(x) 77" OLED - but boy am I glad I got this one instead! The Picture is simply AMAZING! The blacks are black! and the colors are so vibrant, and the details - wow just wow! I have been rewatching so many movies in 4K UHD, and it's like I am watching them for the first time. This TV is Heavy, I recommend if you are mounting it on your wall to either get the Geek Squad to do it (3 people showed up, just to bring it into the house and pick it up to hang it on the wall) or have some very strong friends to help you. Also, spend the extra on the mount - you do not want this TV to fall off the wall. My only complaint would be the remote - but oh wait I don't use the remote on the TV as everything is through my HT system. Overall this TV is Excellent!

Hung in our family room by Magnolia. Great picture and it handles glare from multiple windows very well. Performance with my Xbox 1 is fantastic in game mode. Colors and graphics really pop and COD gaming is solid. The apps are quick and easy to use. Ambient mode is cool where you can set it to a piece of art and just leave it on all day with no risk of burn in. I don’t like Alexa or any voice commands so didn’t set them up. 4K shows fro Netflix and amazon are stunning. Overall very happy. My challenge is now setting up my harmony remote. I’ll also look for a better wall mount that gets the TV closer to the wall.

The picture is phenomenal. However, I cannot recommend such an expensive TV to any users with custom/high-end audio systems. I was excited to leverage eARC as it allowed me to plug in 4k/120hz/VRR (variable refresh rate) sources directly to the TV while passing advanced sound codecs to my eARC enabled receiver, but it is severely limited in compatible codecs. 1 - No DTS support for eARC. This is noted in their manual. All of my DTS video files are now in stereo/2-channels. Samsung should pay the licensing fee for their high end Q90T line. This is unacceptable for what is positioned as a top of the line display. 2 - PCM/Uncompressed eARC audio is limited to stereo/2-channels. Even though the eARC standard supports 7.1 channels of uncompressed 192khz/24bit audio, the TV will only allow 2.0 at 48khz/24bit. While I could plug my source directly into the receiver to get all the features I want, then I would lose out on 4K/120hz/VRR which is one of the main reasons why I purchased the TV. I did contact Samsung support, and while extremely friendly, all they could do is confirm that I am stuck with no DTS and 2.0 channels of PCM. Again, amazing picture, bad audio.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this TV. I narrowed my research to the Q90 and OLED. I wanted a new TV for the next generation of consoles. I went with the Q90 due to viewing the TV during the day, OLED is mainly for dark rooms and also can have screen burning if playing video games for a long time. My pros and cons with the Q90: Con: It didn’t look wow when first turned on. I recommend having the geek squad calibrate the TV (which I have not done yet), Because the TV is very bright. I have it on the intelligent setting which automatically changes the brightness depending on the rooms darkness. Since this was too bright I simply turn down the brightness and now the TV looks amazing. Pro: The TV comes with its own channels. Like 1000 channels. Including ‘Chive TV’ Which is A channel that plays fails with cool music. Pro: The ambient function of the TV is amazing it has everything from cool light shows to go with music, relaxing Scenery that has Day / night cycles for relaxation, and its own workout programs, All free! Recommendation: check your cable splitter for the dB. I had two TVs and Internet to connect with one cable so I purchased a five dollar one in three out splitter. To my surprise the new splitter was at 7db and the Old splitter that was installed with my cable was 3DB. Basically limiting the quality of cable TV. As you can imagine this made a huge difference in the quality of cable TV. Apps: Abs look amazing Disney+ HBO max and Netflix all have perfect 4K quality.

I was debating between this TV and LG Oled 77” . But , Bigger is better :) . Samsung is super bright . I believe the refresh rate 120-240 on Samsung is unbeatable. I will buy this over Oled again and again

Upgraded from a Samsung 65” curved screen. I didn’t like the idea of going back to a normal flat screen after enjoying the immersive qualities of the curved screen. But the picture quality of the Q90T series is so incredible that I am so over the curve. This TV delivers an such an amazing picture that you will be blown away. So don’t be afraid to treat yourself to the Q90T series, you’ll definitely impress yourself.

Upgraded my 75” 7series to this bad boy. I wanted an 85” and kept looking around for a while. I was debating between Samsung, LG and Sony but I haven’t had any issues with Samsung products so I decided to stay with Samsung. So many options Samsung Q60, 70, 80, 90 and other ones. I opted for the Q90T and I love it! Great for movies, even better with my ps5. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase, yes it was pricey but completely worth it. I definitely recommend this TV

Overall I’m happy. I purchased this TV for the Xbox One X and PS5. My game room is now the family spot lol but that’s okay. Movies, live sports and gaming are amazing on this tv. I’m not a huge tech person but it has HDMI 2.1 for the new gaming paired with my Yamaha receiver I’m good to game in 4K.

The perfect TV for a space like cinema, excellent image, sound, easy to handle, just beautiful, my husband ran out of words at the first moment he saw it. You feel the real image as if you were on the TV.

The Samsung Q90TV is an excellent TV, the brightness and colors are absolutely amazing. TV handles motion very well, I would recommend to pair it with the Samsung Q 900 T sound bar, and be prepared for an immense theater experience. The best part was the Geek Squad handled delivery and mounting! Thanks Best Buy for a great job!

Great TV. Colors are bright, blacks look black to me. Picture is smooth even with sports and action scenes. Coming from a 65" plazma and I can't find anything to complain about. Lots of streaming apps available. 2 thumbs up.
