Purchased this phone for my Mom who will be a first time smart phone user. It is a perfect size for her along with the many features that she will learn to use. I can configure large icons for her home screen as well as larger fonts for her to read texts etc. I have personally owned many Samsung phones and currently have the Note 10 +. The 10 e is a similar phone without all the bells and whistles that Mom will not need. Fantastic sale price for this model phone that just 6 months ago was much more expensive. I highly recommend this phone.

Bought this as a first smartphone for an older friend who was previously using an LG 'candybar' phone with slide out keyboard and before that, a flip phone. She chose this model over the larger A50 (with more advanced features) because it was easier to hold in her hand. I agree that the A10e is more comfortable to hold. Very easy to set up and use. Uses typical Samsung intuitive logic, making it easy for a first-timer to learn. She was able to seamlessly have all her contacts transferred from her 'candybar' phone to the A10e at the Verizon store. The A10e uses the newer USB-C type cord rather than the USB mini-plug for charging, as Samsung is migrating to the more advanced charging port. One further advantage of the USB-C is that the end of the plug is oval-shaped, so you can insert the plug into the charging port either way since there is no top or bottom to the plug. The phone cannot be charged with wireless charges. There are adaptors available to convert a USB mini-plug to a USB-C, but I recommend buying new USB-C charging cables. You can still use the same wall charger. All in all, the A10e is a phone (whether you're it's your first smartphone or you're twenty-first). At only $179, it's a bargain providing a lot of features for a modest price.

Got this for my dad who is a senior and he likes it, took a while to learn it, but very good and easy for him, fonts can be adjusted for bigger letters and if he gets lost navigating he can always tap the home button, much louder than his old flip phone and i D/Loaded a hearing aid app for him which can never be done on his old flip phone

This phone is really great. My whole family had to get new phones b/c of some issue with our plan and so my sister and I both got the A10E and another sister got a slightly more expensive model, all Verizon. However, when we went to activate our phones, we found out the SIM cards in the phones weren't for Verizon, even though we bought our phones from Best Buy and they were marked to work with Verizon. Not a huge problem, we just had to go to the Verizon store for them to replace the SIM cards. But just an fyi. Great phone though! Great display, good camera, plenty of storage, etc. Super customizable which is really nice too.

A month ago finally got myself out to get an upgrade for my 2 yr old junior Samsung J3v cell to something with more power and capabilities. So far it's easy to navigate and not challenging in any way being familiar with Samsung android products. This phone meets my minimal needs for storage and speed for now, camera works well.

my only problem with this purchase was that it took almost three weeks longer than promised for me to receive it. Communication about the delay was terrible, as in, almost non existent. The phone itself is great. Just what I hoped for. Easy to use, not too big. not too many bells and whistles for this old lady to be overwhelmed by.

We wanted to get our son a basic smartphone as his first phone, and after doing research, this turned out to be an excellent choice. He had been occasionally using my Galaxy S8, and he hasn't complained about the downgrade when using his new A10e. He uses it mostly for texts, phone calls, internet searches, and playing apps. We added a 32GB memory card to supplement. Obviously, it's not as sophisticated as an S8, but it does the job at the price point and for basic usage.

The phone works great, and the sharpness of the phone is good. Easy enough for my mother to use, who is not super tech savvy. Basic setup, the charger it comes with is a little short so I recommend purchasing a longer one when purchasing the phone, but would definitely recommend this phone this far.

Got these phones for my twin boys (age 10) so they didn't need the latest/greatest tech but I want them to have reliable phones/service through Verizon. They seem like solid phones, easy to use, yet still allow me as an Android parent to utilize parental controls via Google Family Link. My boys said they didn't have selfie cameras but according to the specs they should so I will just have to show them. We switched from the A60's with Sprint (stay away from Sprint!) to go back to Verizon and these were essentially free after an applied promotion for 2 years, just have to pay for the lines/data.

This phone was recommended to me and I did research it online. I looked at you tube videos prior to purchase. I use my phone for business extensively, daily, along with a PC, and laptop. Now I find it "drops calls" due to a default automatic 10 minute limit for the phone to be on. What???? I returned to Best Buy where I purchased it and this was explained to me Apparently I do not have the authority to determine the length of my calls. Today on an 30 minute business call, it stopped turned off 3times...and no, you dont just touch the screen to reactivate. It requires a full-on start again. Outrageous. If there is no solution, this phone will be returned pronto!

I like the size and the light weight of this phone

Slim and light-weight. I like the features of the phone. The only thing I have to get used to is having all the buttons on the same side of the phone. I'm used to the volume buttons being on one side and the power button on the other.

For the money, this is a really good deal. Don't expect S10 or Note 10 features or quality, but at this price it's perfect.

Screen is larger and speed is outstanding. When looking for a new phone, the price really caught my eye.

Great first phone for my 11 year old daughter. It's not too advanced but not too basic.

So far I can turn it on, swipe, punch in a password, and read facebook. I hope to figure out more later. It sure would help to have an instruction manual other than online. Thank you.
