really deep basketball sim. best basketball game out there. better than last year's version and last year I thought that version was the best out there.

My boys love this game. My Park has better gameplay than 2K16 and controls are improved. For career mode there are more options. Overall very fun - they recommend highly!

In general all of the aspects of this game are similar to last year's version. There are two major improvements I have noticed including defense and realism. On the defensive side, it is much easier to play defense and scores are more realistic instead of the high scoring games of last year's version. The realism is also greatly improved as player movement and graphics are much more realistic and provide greater flow to gameplay. Shooting freethrows is harder and uses new mechanics and the same is true with calling plays. A lot of fun overall to play.

This game is awesome. I really enjoy the realism the 2K basketball games have. Setting the controls is easy and so is the gameplay

My 2 year old loves watching basketball and I picked this game up as a sort of father/son bonding device. We only play for about 30 minutes every couple of days but it's a great way for him to pretend like he's doing what I'm doing. Overall, the game is what it is; basketball. Graphics are great and the controls are intuitive. Only played quick pickup games so far so I can't comment on anything about the season.

Absolutely love this series. Heads and shoulders above NBA Live. Story mode is great and the gameplay is smooth. Shooting takes practice but it's realistic.

They have done it again! Great storyline in my career, the controls feels more comfortable and realistic. The only flaw I see is the upgrading of badges. You can only upgrade badges the have something to do with the specific player you are i.e. slasher or 3 point specialists. But overall very great game!

The classic teams are still here, the campaign is better, and most importantly, the controls are much, much better. I couldn't make heads or tails with the shot meter in 2k16, but now in 2k17, you have to fill the entire meter at the height of your jump, which is both easier to understand and works well. I was so impressed with how much an improvement this game is over last year's that I went from NBA Live 16 (which is very good in its own regard) to 2k17 this year.

Wanted to try 2K for xbox and it was okay but most of my friends are on ps so I got 2K18 for PS :)

in terms of just the gameplay, it's amazing. it's the most fluid nba 2k has put out so far. but as someone that exclusively plays mycareer mode, there are still a few things that need to be worked out. i'm glad they switched the stat system so that you can upgrade your stats more specifically, but the stat cap is annoying, as is the limited amount of upgrades you can do. the loading screens can be a pain. but it's definitely more fun than 2k16

Bought this for my son. He loved the NBA2K 16 version and likes this version 900% more he says! The controls feel cleaner and smoother and there's not as much lag online or glitches. Altogether he feels its much more realistic. It's his favorite game to play on the Xbox.

Game plays very smooth, my career has become really entertaining to play. They have made the game more interactive than ever. Very close to the last release but it just feels smoother and with the MyPark revamps this is the best 2K yet.

I have played the NBA games almost every year since release. After last year's failed attempt at a career mode I am happy with the choices made. Also like the addition of expansion to my league. Would say this is the best release to date
