I usually take everything on my phone, but I wanted a separate camera that would make taking pictures feel a little more fun again. This one has actually done that. I really like the way it looks when I’m carrying it around. The black body and larger lens give it that classic camera feel, and it doesn’t look like a toy. I’ve taken it to a couple of family get-togethers and on walks, and I find myself reaching for it more than I expected. The screen flipping forward is nice when I want to be in the picture too, but what I’ve enjoyed most is just slowing down and actually taking photos instead of snapping something quickly on my phone. The extra lenses are fun to play with as well. I’ve especially enjoyed using the macro lens for flowers and little details around the house. It took me a little time to get familiar with where everything is, but overall it’s been easy to enjoy without knowing much about photography. For me, that’s probably the best part.
