Featuring 30 layers of optical coatings and up to 99.8% light transmission (and minimum light reflectance less than 0.1%), the multi-layer UV filter blocks ultraviolet rays ranging from 300nm to 410nm to reduce glare and ghosting while ensuring accurate color rendering. The coatings are also anti-static, oil-proof, water and scratch resistant.
Made of aluminum and magnesium alloy, the filter frame is strong and durable. With precision fabrication and matte black anodized finish, the screw-on filter has less glare due to the filter's metal frame. The 5.5mm thick filter is only 3.5mm deep when screwed onto your lens, avoiding lens vignetting - ideal for wide-angle and telephoto lenses.
