If the flash does not fire, switch the camera to mechanical shutter mode, enable external flash, change flash setting from OFF to M manual mode, refocus, and set the flash back to manual mode
Delivers GN38 (ISO 100) output with 8 manual power levels (1/128-1/1), 5600K±200K daylight color temperature, 0.1-5s recycle time, and 1/300-1/20000s flash duration. The flash head tilts 0°-90° and rotates 0°-270°. Supports S1/S2 optical slave modes and PC sync for off camera lighting
For reliable sync, set shutter speed to 1/200s or slower to avoid black bands or partial flash. If overexposed, reduce flash power, ISO, or aperture; if too dark, increase output, ISO, or open aperture. Requires 4 AA batteries (1.5V alkaline or Ni-MH recommended). Features low battery indication, CP-E4 external power support for faster recycling, plus power saving and overheating protection for dependable shooting.
