About This Item
This is Northwest Music Hall of Fame member Neil Andersson's first . It's a balance of upbeat, hard swinging Jazz and poignant ballads, all played with the influence of Django Reinhardt in a setting of guitar, piano, vibes, bass and drums. This CD is, at times, reminiscent of the George Shearing Quintet. There are four Django compositions here plus a mix of standards and Andersson originals. Neil's energy, precision and guitar mastery are evident with every note he plays and there are fine solos and support form vibraphone player, Susan Pascal and pianist, Michael Jaap. InchC'est si bonInch could easily become a favorite of Django fans and guitar enthusiasts alike. Album Tracks 1. Boheme Auberge 2. Le Ciel Azur 3. Nuits de Saint Germain Des Pres 4. Le Rive Gauche 5.
