This new boxed set edition features a completely new remaster of the original stereo album mix (from the original master tapes), both tracks from the 'Do You Believe in Magic' single issued in April 1972, along with new 5.1 Surround Sound and Stereo mixes by Ben Wiseman and a new remaster of 'The Boston Tapes' - the recordings made by the band in the USA in 1970 for an abortive album prior to them signing to Bellaphon Records in Germany in 1971. Also included is the complete Inchofficial bootlegInch recording of a concert in Darmstadt, Germany in November 1971 presented on two CDs. Finally, the set features a region free Blu-ray disc with the new 5.1 & Stereo remixes of the album, along with bonus video footage of the promotional film 'Good Day' made in 1971 previously unreleased in full. Originally released in November 1971, the album was the first by the band and featured a continuous piece of music divided into 13 tracks. This impressive conceptual science fiction inspired work, which was interpreted as a commentary on the nuclear arms race, was the band's first album and originally appeared in Germany, the country where the British band were formed and were based, enjoying commercial success and building Nektar's loyal following.
