I switched to this machine from a Keurig, and I was initially pretty impressed. It's a gorgeous machine to have sitting on your counter and just LOOKS like it should make great coffee- which- it does, sorta. I am not really a strong brew/dark roast kind of girl. I enjoy the mellow offerings of coffee and while they do have light/less bold roasts (literally maybe 2 or 3) they didn't really speak to me. There's just not enough variety within the capsules for me to keep the machine. I DO like that they have a recycling program for their capsules because I used a resuable filter with my K-cup to reduce my waste. Also worth noting that after using it maybe 3-4 times I noticed that the top would seal and click into place but every once in a while I would get some leaking water out of the side. I'm not sure if it was user error or if it was a faulty machine but I think it's worth mentioning. TLDR; Great if you love bolder coffees or just good ole regular coffee. Don't mind not having a huge selection of capsules and appreciate the recycling program/aesthetic.

Pros - Biking is my primary form of exercise and brewing quick espresso shots or coffee in the morning before each ride is very useful and satisfying - I like the convenience of quick single-served cups of coffee - I like the overall design and convenience of having two machines in one - I go to school early in the morning so having fast coffee is very beneficial if I ever need it (especially before tests) Cons - The coffee does taste a bit more "acidic" than other coffee I have had before. It was very noticeable with the Caramel (Caramelizio) and the Pumpkin Spice coffee. This is even after using a hazelnut creamer as well. (I use 3-4 tablespoons) - Can be expensive depending on the drinker (in my case not so much since I don't drink it daily) - POSSIBLE CON: The creme layer is more like a foam than anything so if that bothers people then that could steer them away from this machine. For me it doesn't matter and I rather enjoy the foam-like layer - POSSIBLE CON: The temperature of the coffee usually hits between 165-175 F (which is an "improvement" over the previous vertuoline)

Makes great coffee as long as it works which isnt for long. Had 2 machines die on me. The first one stopped reading the barcode and the second sounded like a plane. Nespresso offers only 6 months of warranty.

This is my second Nespresso machine. They make excellent cofffe and espresso. The machines must be used regularly. Letting sit without use for more than three months cause machine to die faster.

The machine made really nice coffee the problem was they were only warm not hot. I returned it for another model

I was so excited when hubby bought this for me as a gift. Makes great coffee but then only after a month or so it started rattling and making really loud noise when in use. Had to exchange with the newer version.

The Nespresso machine makes the most delicious and best tasting coffee in the USA, however this machine fails in the "hot" coffee department. Therefore have your microwave near by.... because you will want to warm it up and in so doing you do lose a bit of the beauty of the frothiness of the coffee... still the taste is fab.

This machine is not bad, but I was expecting something better. It makes good espresso and mediocre coffee. Both are oddly foamy (more than the amount of crema you would want) but coffee is ridiculously foamy.
