Just received, dented. Haven’t tried it yet, but disappointing it is dented.

Got this a month or so ago and has been a great unit to help with the ice supply during summer BBQs and stuff instead of having to grab bags of ice. This machine just kept popping out fresh ice for drinks and that was awesome!

We like this ice maker and it meets our needs because we don't need large quantities of ice. It takes a bit of time to make the ice so you need to plan ahead. It takes an hour to fill the little ice cube holder inside the unit. That's enough to fill about a 32 oz glass for an example of the volume. I am okay with that, we just let it keep going and stick a ziplock of cubes in the freezer. The ice cubes are hollow as they drop off the freezing rods- I've never used hollow cubes before! But the medium size is plenty big and they do not melt right away. There are three sizes, just haven't used them all yet so can't comment. Small probably freezes much fast than medium. I expect large would take way too long for me to wait. The ice does not melt too quickly- so happy with that. It's bigger than I thought it would be, but worth finding a place for it! I am really happy we purchased it!

Bought this because we don't have an icemaker in the fridge and we use ice cube trays. Ice cube trays take up room that I can use to store other foods so we purchased this stand alone icemaker. Good: Ice produced fast. Compact machine can be used for tailgating out of a van. Bad: Does not keep ice frozen so transferring to freezer the ice tends to stick together after 30 minutes.

I have had a portable icemaker for over a year and I'm very happy with it. It creates enough ice for my household of two plus guests. My highest praise for this item is that I would replace it if it stopped working. But, I did purchase the Protection Plan, so I'm safe. It's a little noisy that's why I gave it a four.

put it in a bar area that doesn't have an ice maker in the refrigerator. This is perfect for having ice available all the time. also perfect size for a dorm or apt. Just fill with water and ice is available almost instantly. Auto shut off when ice bin is full.

This ice maker is awesome. I needed something more than our fridge ice maker to keep up with our family's demands and this fits the bill. The ice is not as cold as the fridge, which is below zero, so the ice melts faster, but I just need it to cool drinks and it does that job. It makes ice in about 8 minutes, and is faster than our fridge, so that is great. The size selector is nice as well. The fan is on the side so it can perform better, and is louder than our fridge. BUT, the fan on the fridge is behind it on the bottom by the floor so its muffled, so what can you expect.

I bought this for my husbands man cave. He is still thanking me for the gift. It is easy to use and clean. He only makes one size of ice, he’s not interested in smaller cubes. The only down side is you need to move them to a freezer it will not keep them cold for long. There is no cooler once they are made.

This machine makes ice fast and is easy to use. The 3 different ice sizes is also a nice feature.

Ive owned many ice machines and honestly this one did disappoint. The ice cubes are great. The machine is 5 months old and slowly it produces less ice. We've cleaned it multiple times and still the performance is less. Its great for counter space saving but for everyday use and 3-4 people using the ice its just not enough. We will be up grading soon and I wish I had better comments.

I love my ice machine. I am terrible about filling ice cubes trays and putting them back in the freezer when empty. It is easy to use. Produces ice cubes faster than having to wait for ice cube trays in the freezer to freeze. I don’t have much counter top space, but this fits underneath my cupboards so I can scoot it back out of the way. Very easy to use. I barely notice any noise when the machine is running. I really only notice the ice cubes dropping into the tray.

I had a fridge with an icemaker and loved it. I moved to an apartment with a furnished fridge, no icemaker. So I bought this because the reviews on it were so good. I love it too. I get a little low on ice and I just turn it on and have ice very quickly. It takes up a little space, but I have plenty where I am. Fast and efficient.

We use this ice machine all the time and it’s great! It doesn’t take long to make the ice. I only wish it would keep the cubes frozen. We have to remove the ice and put it in a different container to stay frozen.

I purchased this ice maker for our office which is about 30 people. It consistently makes ice on it's own, and is always full. Occasionally you have to move the ice around and make room for the new ice. If you don't do this, it stops making ice, but that's only because it senses that it's full. Overall this is a machine used by a lot of people, and withstands the use with no problems what so ever.

For our camper, as a supplement to the ice maker in the fridge, or for extra ice for company this is a great ice maker. We have two of them. One we keep at home and one for the camper. Remember, it makes ice. It doesn't keep ice. Just empty the bin every so often into a bowl to hold in your freezer until needed.

It does not keep ice but makes a steady flow of ice. If you are buying for this reason you must take ice out and fill a bowl and keep in freezer. I dont think its a big deal. I love this item. Maybe should have bought a warranty due to the comments of them breaking.

I make extra ice and put in my freezer for backup to my refrigerator icemaker. Ice straight from the Newair is wet ice, so freezing helps firm it up. In one day I can make at least 10 lbs of ice. Newair comes in handy when hosting guests. The Newair is quiet.

I have had several portable ice makers. This model is pretty quiet compared to the others. It makes ice quickly and the ice tastes great. I bought this make because of the good reviews. Its a little more expensive so I am hoping it hold up longer than the others I have had.
