A: Hello. The Dash Cam itself is wireless as it goes straight into the Click&Go PRO Mount, meaning it can be removed at any time. The power itself goes straight into the mount. Q: Im from the Caribbean can this camera withstand high heat temperature throughout the year?
A: Hello Joe, All of our cameras are tested between -20'C (-4F) to +45'C (113'F), although if the car temperature exceeds this you could potentially experience issues. We'd recommend removing the Dash Cam and placing in the glove compartment when the Dash Cam is not in use to prevent it being unnecessarily heated on the windscreen. When storing the Dash Cam for an extended time period, store within the following temperature range: from 0° to 25°C (from 32° to 77°F). Under the mount is a heat sync, so this is the part of the camera that will get warmest. It's nothing to worry about, they're designed to cope with the heat they produce.
Q: Does it plug onto a USB port or a cigarette lighter plug?
A: Hello, The camera comes with a Cigarette Lighter Cable and a USB cable. The Cigarette Lighter Cable is for use in a vehicle, and the USB cable is only for use with a computer (not for use in a vehicle). If your vehicles does not have a cigarette lighter socket, please use a Nextbase Hard Wire Kit instead.
Q: is there an app where we can watch the recordings while away from the car?
A: No, not for this model camera. If you want to view videos you have to take out the SD card and watch on a computer or other device.
Q: does it have night vision and if so how clear
A: Hello. The 122 record in 720p and can record in day and night conditions. I would recommend a higher spec model such as the 222 or 322GW recording at 1080p HD for clearer night vision. Thanks, Nextbase
