A: The Nikon D610 DSLR camera is compatible with the Nikon MB-D14 Multi Battery Power Pack. This battery pack can be powered either by six AA batteries (Alkaline or Ni-MH or Lithium), or one EN-EL 15 rechargeable Li-ion battery. To use the MB-D14 with AA batteries use the MS-D14 AA Battery Holder. When using an EN-EL15 battery to power the MB-D14, use the MS-D14EN Battery Holder. A: The Nikon D610 comes with an EN-EL15 rechargeable Nikon Li-ion battery and the Nikon MH-25 charger.

A: comes with a 1 yr warranty from Nikon IF you register your product in a certain amount of days. HOWEVER, it's only for the basic repairs, not if you drop it in water or kick it down the street. You would need a separate insurance policy for that.
