Produce dynamic stills and 4K videos with this 24.5-megapixel Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera. Its lightweight, compact body provides ergonomic, balanced handling and compatibility with 360 NIKKOR lenses via an FTZ mount. The included 24-70mm lens of this Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera has a constant f/4 maximum aperture that's suitable for various photography applications.

A: The image circle cast by the DX lens will not cover a full frame sensor, so the camera will crop out the outside edges of the frame, reducing the effective megapixels of the camera. The resulting image is about 10 megapixels for the Z6 in DX mode.
Q: When purchasing this camera does it come with the XQD memory card?
A: No, when purchasing a new Nikon Z6 Mirrorless Camera and NIKKOR Z 24-70mm Lens Kit, it does not include an XQD card.
A: Please read this and you may have a better idea about what you will buy. https://www.techradar.com/news/best-mirrorless-camera I had a hard time to decide between Sony and Nikon and just bought Nikon Z6 based on overall factors including the time of it release, cost, functions including IS, photo quality, and hand-hold, etc. I tried Sony found the following: Cost is high, hand-hold-too small for my hands, it is two years old but its auto focus is better than Nikon Z6 that has better video and very nice photo quality. Canon is out of my consideration because it lacks the image stabilization-IS, video crop affecting the video quality and price is high. Good luck!
A: I am not primarily a Canon user although I own and still use both a Canon point & shoot as well as a Canon 1n 35mm film camera. My experience tells me that you need to decide whether to go Canon or go Nikon or some other brand and then stick with it. The value of any camera system lies in the accumulation of lens, not bodies. The lens will always be good but the bodies change as improvements are made. I chose Nikon because I have a full assortment of lens dating back to 1967. They all still work on even the most modern Nikon body. That is the beauty of the Nikon system. Canon, on the other hand started over when the auto focus became the way to go and previous manual focus Canon lens would not work or even fit on Canon auto focus cameras. Today, it is a battle between Sony, Canon, Nikon and Panasonic/Olympus over the mirrorless camera systems. I chose Nikon because of their dedication to keeping backward compatibility with all previous lens. There will be minor improvements over time and one or the other brand will pull ahead momentarily, but in the long run, they are all about the same in performance. I did notice that the mirrorless Canon lens are different from the Canon auto focus lens so they may be making another big change that is not backward compatible.
Q: I have a NikorAF Zoom, 28 -200 mm lense. Is this lens compatible with this camera?
A: Yes it can with the ftz adapter
Q: are nikon DSLR lens compatible with this camera?
A: Yes with the adaptor for the z camera.
Q: Which wide angle lens is recommended to use with this Nikon z6 camera?
A: If you are looking for a native lens for the Z6 Mirrorless camera, we would recommend looking into the NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S as this is the widest angle Z mount lens we have currently available. You would also be able to pair this camera with the FTZ Adapter and use any wide angle F mount Nikon lens without losing any image quality.
