We i used first time smell like burning plastic,,i had my food a way,i give it a second try and did the same also when I received the box was beaten and fryer was used before ,,all way around i am not satisfied,,,

Smells like burning plastic every time we use it, after a month it developed a crack inside the left air fryer bracket. I called Best Buy and their online support handed it off to the Local Store - which just put me on hold. I like getting stuff from Best Buy because it is generally high quality, but this thing is changing my mind. Gonna look elsewhere next time.

I was so excited to use this airfryer, my first one I ever purchased. But the smell of plastic is awful. The chemical smell penetrates the food and the house. You can taste the smell too. It gave me a headache. Also, the heat made the upper left corner of the left basket at the front dis-align with the right basket. The left basket stick outwards now. I will be returning this machine and will be looking for an airfryer that does not give off chemical smells. I wanted to like it so much. Maybe next the next Ninja airfryer will be a winner.

Unfortunately, the air fryer gives off a disgusting plastic smell that fills the entire house, and, after running 4 or 5 times, has not gone away. Time to cut my losses and return this one while I still can. Apparently, with all of these air fryers, it seems to be hit or miss with regards to whether you will be stuck with a nasty plastic smell. Too bad...I really wanted to like it.

This product smelled like burnt plastic the entire time I owned it. I even looked up how to get rid of it and I did everything I could but still did not go away. Would not recommend

Pure Garbage. I’ve gone through 2 of these since we purchased in November 2021 and each time the #2 basket reads “E4” and won’t work. This is absurd for this product to cost this much and have to warranty this second one within 2 weeks of getting it as a replacement to the one we bought in November. Avoid at all costs. The thought is great, it should be a great product but unfortunately it is not.

We were really looking forward to using this unit. The first time we used it the food turned out great but the chemical/electrical odor that came out of it while in use did not go away even after we turned it off. The smell was terrible and it still persists in our kitchen cabinets and walls even though I moved it to the garage. I am currently in the process of returning it. I found other complaints about this smell on the Ninja web site.

Basket number 2 stop working. It will not warm up. Just bought it in March 2022. It sucks because my return window expire. I tried calling the manufacturer and they just send me a basket replacement which it did not fix the problem. I don’t think I will be buying from ninja again.

Although the air fryer works well, the plastic burning smell is toxic. Nothing will get rid of the smell. Disappointed due to a lack of quality inspection.

This Foodi Air Fryer came without a proper shipping box. The item is used and the box was delivered opened and ripped. Fragile kitchen appliances need to be sent in sturdy shipping boxes. I was not able to use this item, because it was used and the box was damaged. This item will be going back to exchange with hopefully a new and undamaged one at the local store.

Not very pleased with purchase, product seems to be defective after a few uses the unit makes a rumbling noise as if it’s falling apart, just my luck after the return date. Very disappointed with this Best Buy purchase and this Ninja product.. A lot of money to waste on a defective product that lasted as long as the return date goes.

This is not about the product itself but BEST BUT and their Customer Service. This was not able to fit in my desired Kitchen space, So I needed to send it back. BB REFUSED to send a shipping label, and insisted I dropped it off in the store. I explained, MANY times I have a disability and I am not able to, but their answer was "I am sorry, this is our policy" - are you kidding me??? Get with the times, Best Buy, this is horrific. I am now stuck with this and will not shop at BB again.

that purchase was frustrating. I made the online purchase, the estimated delivery time was 1 week, which is not good. on the day of delivery the app said they were preparing for the curbside, and we were waiting all day to pick it up, when at the end of the day the notification appeared that the product was delayed and without forecast. after another week of waiting we finally received the product and to our surprise with a broken basket. bad experience

The review is solely for their processing and shipping handling. Bought this over online for a friend as birthday gift. Two weeks past and item still hasn’t shipped. I had to contact them and they didn’t give me solid explanation of why they hasn’t shipped it yet. So they told me they’ll ship it right away and I’ll have it in couple of days. The item arrived and it wasn’t in a shipping box or anything. It came in its original box and box was severely broken. I just don’t understand how you ship electronics without proper packaging? No invoice etc. so disappointed!!!

The dual baskets were a great idea. It became one of our most used kitchen appliances. Then it died after about 18 months, which explains the low rating. I’m reluctant to replace it with another Ninja brand air fryer.

5 months later and the taste of plastic it leaves in the food does not only ruin food but its also not healthy! the grills have some sort of rubber legs which is a terrible design.

Fryer pans, the metal materials have corrosion already and only used twice in 30 days slready pans have corrosion under the non stick coating the metal is corroding
