After a year of using my Crux air fryer almost every day, I was so excited to pick up the Ninja DualZone I had been wanting for months, on Black Friday. But as nice as it is, I have to say I am beyond disappointed. Unlike the Crux, there is no removable basket that I can shake during cooking - only a crisping tray. Because of the lack of a removable basket, not only does grease splash if you try to shake it during cooking, but you can’t even dump the contents out after cooking, because all the drippings/grease will pour out too! I’m just glad I only paid $100 for it, so hopefully I can sell it without losing money.

Received it in March of 2025, has odd problems by October of 2025. When it works, it's pretty nice. Seems pretty well built and the dual zone function is cool. My problems started in early October when using the dual function it would turn one side off all together. Sometimes it would beep at you, other times your food was still cold without notice haha. It seems like it can't ramp up both sides sometimes and throws an error code that quickly disappears. I went to Ninja and told them about the code, got approval for a replacement and needed to pay for shipping(which is totally fine) of the new one. I headed off to work, with every intention of paying it the next day, cutting the cord and going through the picture taking process. But they canceled the return link in 24 hours. I already spent 20-30 minutes before work on the phone for this thing. Now I need to do it all over again and I've had a broken air fryer on my counter for a few weeks. I love that they didn't even blink at sending me a new one, but why did it break so soon and why is the payment link only good for 24 hours? Mildly annoying.

The reason for the two stars is due to the awful smell that comes from this machine. I really wanted to like the product and part of it I did, but none of them outweighed the smell that permeates the house when in use. It fried perfectly! Roasted Brussel sprouts perfectly! Browned pastries perfectly! But the chemical smell was so off putting, I had to return it. I ended up buying a new range/oven with air fryer capability. I believe it was the chemical makeup of the bins, where the food is placed. I truly wanted to enjoy this product, but I just couldn't. I'm not sure if all air fryers are like this? I did however like the ability to air fry two different things at once. This product is feature rich and thats why I gave a couple of stars. But, whats the point of having features when you dread turning the product on?

After LOTS of researching, I chose this unit. I knew from the first use it was not going to be what I wanted. I had to fill both baskets (which I knew going in), but in the end, I had uneven cooks on the two baskets with the matching settings set. I tried twice on this machine, same thing. Uneven cooks. The second cook was a pork tenderloin that I had to cut in half so I could fit each half in their own basket. Again, uneven cooks. I will say, the food was really good when it was finally done as desired. But it was just a pain to get it done. I really wanted to be thrilled with this, but I just wasn't. So I returned it.

caught fire no konger in use dont recormend i also bought for myself but are very aware of this machine being bad i spend a great deal of money at besy buy and i dont think i thought i needed to insure thi so sorry i didnt

Terrible air fryer for simple things like french fries and tater tots but does an excellent job roasting and frying meats. Do your research before buying, this may not be the best air fryer for you and your family. I was greatly disappointed

We didn’t like this, the drawers are too small to put anything much into. You couldn’t even fit a standard sized slice of pizza into one of the drawers. We returned it. We usually love Ninja products but this one didn’t do it for us.

The baskets are too small. I purchased a different one and it was 1 large round basket. So much better. And so much cheaper. $60 Now the worse thing is, I didn’t realize Best Buy only gives you two wks to return it. So now I’m stuck with a $200 lost..

Did not cook evenly on either side. Bought another Power Fryer XL, which is much better. I may have gotten a bad unit and missed the one year warranty, The build quality is top notch, but that is really the only positivite I can give it.

Only used fry setting. Chicken was good, but baked, not fried. Potatoe sticks were sort of fried. Brussel sprouts were just like oven roasted. Same with green beans. Nothing came out close to fried.

I purchased this item to cook chicken breast and potatoes as I don’t need to reheat a lot of leftovers. The potatoes came out ok, but I tried making chicken twice and it was rubbery. I did not care for how it cooked. Perhaps this item is better for reheating leftover chicken wings and pizza.

I am sure there are those that love the method but for me, it just doesn't do it. The product itself is actually exceptional. Well built and easy to clean/use but it was the air frying in general- guess I expected too much from it but the food was quite- ehhhh-.

The double fryer baskets are much smaller than prepared for. Does not seem any bigger than our single large air fryer.

Huge fan of Ninja but this is not worth the money. It takes twice as long as any of my other ninja products had I known I wouldn't have purchased it

I though I would like this but I didn't. If you wanted to make fries that would be ok because you have to baskets this was not for me
