This machine has been great from air frying to warming up left overs from the night before. This works great and my kids love the chicken and fries that come out crispy and delicious. One thing to make sure you do is run this machine once or twice for 10-15 minutes to burn off on new machine smell that it may have.

I’m still trying to get my hands on this .. it’s easy to use but consumes lot of time . Even for fries we have to wait for 30 mins that’s a little frustrating .but yeah it’s healthy to cook on this , since I’m a cholesterol patient I needed this one badly to avoid oil ..

I like to use my air fryer, only problem I had was that one side does not close correctly so it takes longer to cook.

The Ninja Foodi 2 basket air fryer can half your meal cooking time and is a blessing when hosting guests. If you’re new to air frying, they’re basically convection ovens with high speed fans that help cook food quicker and crispier. They won’t exactly match the results of traditional oil frying, but it’ll give you better crispness than a regular oven ever could. They do an amazing job on frozen foods like fries, tenders, nuggets, and calamari, so much so that guests might think they’ve been fried. Calamari was a game changer for me, because they never come out crispy from the oven, but give them 8 minutes at 400 degrees on air fry and they’ll be perfectly crispy on the outside, while still tender and moist inside. No more deciding between undercooked and soggy or crispy and rubbery calamari! But what makes this Ninja Foodi air fryer special is that it has 2 baskets that enable you to cook 2 different foods at the same time. Breaded chicken in one basket, roast pork in another; different cooking times and methods (air fry and roast) working simultaneously to save me time, while still giving excellent results. This unit can do a lot more than just air fry though, there’s an air broil mode that can go up to 450 degrees, a roast, bake, reheat, and dehydrate. I’ve tried each one except for the dehydrate mode so far, but I’m looking forward to seeing how well it can do some beef jerky. I do wish each fry basket had an internal basket that you could separate and dump out the food without worrying about the drippings. Not a big deal, that’s what tongs are for, but it’s the only thing I wish this unit had vs my old air fryer. Overall, it’s about the size of a microwave, fairly well built, and does a great job of cooking 2 different things at once. If you’re in the market for an air fryer, definitely give this one a look, especially if you’re cooking for a lot of people. Being able to do wings and fries at the same time is going to be great when football swings back into gear. Read on for a few more details. FUNCTION Because there’s 2 baskets, this Ninja Foodi air fryer is a little bit more complex to use than a traditional single air fryer. There’s 2 independent cooking zones that share the same controls, so you have to keep in mind which basket you’re programming for. It might sound a little confusing at first, but use it a few times and it all makes sense pretty quickly. Press power, select basket 1 or 2, choose your cooking method, then set the temp and time. If you want basket 2 to have the same settings simply hit “match cook” and your job is done. If you’re cooking 2 different things, it’s essentially the same steps, but after programming one basket, press the # of the other basket and set your time and temp settings for that one. From there all you need to do is press start, but there’s a “match cook” feature that’s pretty convenient. Match cook is if you want both baskets to be finished at the same time, which is great if you’re busy and in “set it and forget it” mode. The Air broil is a cool feature that I’m experimenting with more. I tried it for crisping up some duck skin for peking duck rolls, but couldn’t tell much of a difference between it and the air fry mode. Excellent results with both though. It comes with a recipe cookbook and a chart with suggested cook temps and times, but the best results will take some trial and error. Just remember not to pack the food in tightly as air fryers work best when there’s some space for air to circulate.

This is extremely easy to use. I gave it 4 stars because some of the foods are not ideal to be cooked here. Drumsticks come out perfectly, but others (like french fries), we are still trying to get a handle on the system. Very easy to clean - just pull out the trays. There are inserts that we place in our dishwasher. The food is cooked very quickly, and the feature to cook different types at the same time (with different temps and time settings) is very useful.

Great item to have in your kitchen. You can do so many things with it. We airfry meats, vegetables amonst other things and it comes out perfect. We also use it to reheat certain foods instead of the microwave. They say its healthier this way:) lots of options to choose from from heating time to heating temperature, simultaneously cook 2 items at a time. Has it all. Only downside, if it is a downside, is that its not as silent as a ninja. When at work it is a bit loud and the cooking space is a little small for big portions, Thus the 4 stars. Recommend, especially if its on sale.

I love it. I am so excited to be able to cook a whole package of wings at one time for my family with no wait time for dinner. It’s a must have. I would have given it 5 stars but it has a horrible gas like smell it emits that fills up the whole house whenever I cook. It’s horrible. But overall it awesome.

The Dual Zone Fryer is great for timing you cooking so that your meals are ready to eat at the same time. Large capacity and easy clean up make for wonderful cooking experience. The one draw back I found was that the heat exhaust to the rear causing you to have pull it forward to the edge of the counter to cook so as not to damage the back splash.

Love this duel zone air fryer! It is easy to clean, has plenty of room, multiple different options of how to cook your food, and can be set up so both sides finish at the same time. The only drawback I have noticed is that you cannot use the same method of cooking on both sides at the same time, but not a big deal.

It's a great machine. Non-stick finish makes cleanup a breeze especially with removable bottom rack. Still learning and adjusting temperatures, so have to keep checking the food, but the food we've made has been pretty good. No cold spots like a microwave can sometimes. Everything cooks within minutes. Love french fries, brats, hamburgers. Especially love anything that you'd want a crisp finish to. I think I would have preferred a toaster oven style - can see and slightly easier to clean. Drawers are easy to clean, but slightly big in the sink. Cabinet gets warm but not hot. I have it on my counter and haven't had any problems with heat being too much, and have used the broil function. Cooking functions easy to select. Comes with a small "cookbook" to learn recipes/functions. Basket size is more than enough for a 2-person family.

Easy to use and, so far, works great. The only issue is that it is noisy.

This is my second air fryer. The first doubled as toaster oven, but the fryers with the dedicated baskets seem to be much more effective. I have done everything from vegetables to fish to french fries to pizza.. it's not my preferred way to reheat food if at all possible. My only complaint is that the finish wore off on my basket handles almost immediately for me... not sure why.

The Ninja Air Fryer is a top-notch appliance, boasting excellent quality. It makes food prep a breeze with its easy operation and hassle-free cleaning. Whether you're frying, roasting, or reheating, this air fryer delivers delicious results every time. Highly recommended!

The Ninja air fryer is easy to use and easy to clean. We especially like the double basket that makes it possible to cook at the same or different temperatures. So, you can cook fries in one basket and something else in the other, or for big meals, use both baskets with the easy to use settings. If you already have a convection oven or counter type convection oven, then you might find this purchase a bit redundant since air fryers cook by convection - the same thing. My family likes the novelty, and I believe the Ninja Foodi to be more energy-efficient for small meals, than heating up a large convection oven.

Bought this air fryer because of the great reviews and the dual baskets to air fry two items at once. Was a great air fryer! Easy to use buttons and looks nice. Ended up returning it for the xl verson though, as the baskets were a bit small on this one, especially if only doing one layer. Now having tested both this one and the xl, the buttons and ease of use are better for this one than the xl, but fir me, the size of basket still won out of ease of use. Love how fast this cooks ans heats up as well! Also have used the instant brand air fryers, and although those are built very well too, they have this preheat and cool down mode that adds an extra few minutes on each end where the ninja seems almost instant for cooling and heating, which is great when I'm tired after a long day of work and just want to make a meal real quick in under 10 minutes. One thing I dislike though is when cooking two baskets at once the power is reduced, so cook times do need to be slightly longer. If they had the same power rating as just cooking asingle basket at a time it would make this a 5 star unit. Hope this helps someone on future purchases!

Works great and easy to use and clean. Only con is that it's a bit loud, but it doesn't bother me. Cooks amazingly and cuts cooking time in half
