This plastic model elegantly characterizes the sentient life that the Splatoon series predicts will replace humans after our own 1%-made environmental apocalypse. Though I've only played through part of Splatoon 2, I've found this blue inkling comforting to me after the sun sets on a whole day of screaming into void. It cares not for the permacrisis that stimies the hopes and dreams of generations, for the inkling is hope and dream. Though the inkling represents a dark future for humanity, its presence is a comfort because at least there is still a future. Oh, and it unlocks some stuff in Splatoon 3 or something.

The Amiibo figure was high quality all-around. It also unlocked additional items in the game which was a nice bonus. Definitely recommended for any Splatoon fan.

I had been looking for this amiibo figure for awhile until January, so I'm glad that got it, my Splatoon amiibo collection is halfway there
