You've heard of the pink tax? Meet the white tax. The sheer amount of white looks cool, but definitely drives the price up due to aesthetics. A bit high priced, but overall a great board. Most likely a lot of the price is also from the very generous thermal management that's inherent in the board's construction. Power distribution is set up well, and I haven't seen anything struggle when put under stress. Not that it really matters, but the amount of metal that goes into this beast make it a heavy board. To me, that heaviness speaks of great and solid construction, but to someone that goes to LANs a lot or for some reason values light desktop PCs, it will feel like a Sherman tank. Desktops usually move about three feet during their lives, so only a small percentage of gamers should care. There are plenty of internal USB ports, along with a ton of proprietary headers for NZXT RGB and generic aRGB. Having the ability to reset CMOS with the press of an easy to reach button helps a lot, paired with very convenient BIOS update options. Speaking of BIOS. This one is well set up, but the board is VERY finicky when trying to attain the 6000hz RAM speed that it is rated for. That's not unusual, but I'd have hoped the board would be able to set itself up better (especially since nothing was being overclocked and all parts were rated for higher speeds).
