Purchased this mic arm on sale and with some other discounts not really knowing too much about this mic arm, but being familiar with NZXT as a brand. I am using this with a HyperX Quadcast USB Microphone and after almost a year, I have no issues with it, really. As long as you read the online manual (which I do wish there was a physical manual with this product), setting the mic arm up a pretty simple. I have a pretty thin desk, but the arm was able to be securely tightened to the desk, so probably any desk will work with it. Make sure to tighten the joints of the arm enough where the arm will stay in place, though. Over time, you may need to readjust the arm if you have a lighter microphone regardless, but if you do not tighten it enough, the arm will rise up when you do any sort of maneuvering or adjusting, which is a bit annoying when it happens. If you can get this at a decent sale price, definitely worth it. Although it is more on the premium side of the price spectrum when it’s off sale, so don’t be afraid to shop around.

For the listing price, I expected better quality. The tightening knobs cant hold the arm in place, you need a heavy microphone to hold it in. The main arm is tilting to the left by about 10 degrees which really bugs me. It looks really nice though and I would recommend it if you can get it on sale.

The baseplate of the boom arm spins too easily and mine was tilted to the side and the mic wouldnt stay in place it would also swing to the right so I replaced with the blue microphone one

Fine for the price. A few key pieces are very cheap plastic, making it difficult to adjust. A bit hard to set up without damaging, as there are no instructions (NZXT has a real problem with this). It look good though, and I appreciate the cable channels - it gives the setup a clean look.

Make sure you pay attention to the direction that you try to bend the arm at as I was extremely frustrated when I thought it was broken but I was infact bending it the wrong way.

Hard to bend and not really what I expected. Overall it is good quality

I wanted to love this because of the asthetics. Unfortunately resistance is too high and while its workable i would recommend something different. No matter how much I messed with the tension it seems like nothing changes.

I have tested a hand full of boom arms and i must say this is by far my fav! Great quailty and easy ti use. Only draw back i would say to add is a turning wheel at the mic position so i can turn it side ways. Other than that, worth it!

Looks slick and clean and easy to use and it’s large so it’s hold my mic out of the way

It was exactly what i needed, and worked flawlessly. I couldn't be happier.

The spring is wound so tight you have to have a 50lb microphone to prevent it from pointing straight to the ceiling... the tensioner is useless and doesnt make a difference. Also, the arm is extremely easy to break.

Make sure that you have your own mic and cable since this boom arm is just that, a boom arm. Very clean design and perfect for my SM7B and RE27 ND.

Love how you can easily hide the cords! Gives it such a clean look!

I was worried of breaking the boom arm, but once I got the cable in the grooves, the mic attached, and on my desk I have it perfectly tightened to where I need it to be. This probably the best deal of a mic arm being on sale!

This has been a solid boom arm, The are feels solid to use. I only concern I have is the tightening bolt doesn't feel like it is made of the best materials.

The boom arm is great! Works wonderfully, was a little confused at first but after setting it up it works perfectly

Have the NZXT Capsule microphone. So made sense to buy the arm made from the same company. Nothing didferent than others. But holds the mic perfect.

I ordered this Boom Arm twice to see if I got unlucky with the first arm, but unfortunately both arms middle tension arm broke whenever I tried adjusting it. I don't recommend this boom arm.

This is a really good Boom Arm, I holds your microphone like a charm, you do need to have a microphone to carry it's weight but it is really good.
