The OM SYSTEM EE-1 Dot Sight is a convenient shoe-mounted aiming accessory designed for super-telephoto photography, making it easier to locate, acquire, and track fast-moving subjects such as wild birds. Featuring a center aiming dot with adjustable brightness and position, it helps photographers keep subjects in frame without constantly looking through the camera’s viewfinder. Mounted directly to the camera’s hot shoe, the EE-1 provides quick and accurate target acquisition, allowing for smoother tracking and improved framing when shooting distant wildlife and other challenging subjects.
The OM SYSTEM EE-1 Dot Sight features a highly visible center aiming dot that helps photographers quickly acquire and accurately frame distant subjects. This is especially useful when working with super-telephoto lenses, where finding small or fast-moving subjects through a narrow field of view can be challenging.
Designed for versatility, the aiming dot includes adjustable brightness settings to ensure optimal visibility in a wide range of shooting environments. Whether photographing birds under bright midday sunlight or wildlife during early morning and evening hours, the dot remains clear and easy to see.
The position of the aiming dot can be precisely adjusted to match your specific camera and lens combination. This customization helps improve accuracy and ensures that the sight aligns properly with your photographic setup for confident subject tracking.
Perfect for bird photographers and wildlife enthusiasts, the EE-1 makes it easier to locate and follow subjects that move unpredictably. By providing a clear reference point outside the camera viewfinder, it reduces the time spent searching for subjects and increases opportunities to capture decisive moments.
The open-sight design allows photographers to keep both eyes on the scene while following moving subjects. This enables quicker target acquisition and smoother tracking performance, helping maintain focus on birds in flight, wildlife in motion, and other distant action.
