At just 393 g (13.9 oz), its easy-to-carry body features IPX1-rated weather sealing for added protection when shooting in rain. Creative color and monochrome profiles let you shape the look of your images, while five computational photography modes make creative effects easier to achieve all in-camera. A fast 121-point all-cross phase-detection autofocus system, together with AI-powered Human and Pet Detection AF, helps keep subjects sharp and in focus. Image stabilization providing up to 5.5 stops of compensation helps reduce camera shake for steadier handheld stills and video, especially when shooting in low light or at night.
The PEN includes five computational photography modes that use in-camera processing to make creative effects easier to achieve. These features allow users to create more advanced-looking images without complicated manual techniques or extensive post-processing.
As a compact interchangeable-lens camera, the PEN gives photographers the freedom to choose different lenses for different types of photography. This allows users to move from wide-angle travel shots to portraits, close-ups, or distant subjects while keeping the overall system relatively small.
The camera features IPX1-rated weather sealing, providing added protection when photographing in light rain or challenging outdoor conditions. This makes it a practical choice for travel and everyday shooting where weather can be unpredictable.
A 121-point all-cross phase-detection autofocus system helps the camera focus quickly and accurately. This is useful for everyday photography as well as capturing moving subjects where fast focusing is important.
The camera provides up to 5.5 stops of image stabilization, helping reduce the effects of camera shake when shooting handheld. This is particularly beneficial in low-light and nighttime conditions, as well as when recording handheld video.
