Co-developed by Nikon and RED, the ZR pairs a 24.5MP partially-stacked full-frame sensor and EXPEED 7 processor with RED's renowned color science. It records the new 12-bit R3D NE RAW format with 15+ stops of dynamic range for cinematic, richly gradable footage.
Record internally up to 6K/60p and 4K/120p in R3D NE, Nikon N-RAW or ProRes RAW HQ, plus ProRes 422 HQ and H.265. Dual base ISO (800/6400) with Log3G10 and REDWideGamutRGB delivers clean footage and flexible color grading in any lighting condition.
The ZR is the first camera to capture 32-bit float audio from its built-in mic and 3.5mm input, so you record clean sound without setting levels. Up to 7.5 stops of in-body stabilization and 9-subject autofocus keep footage steady and sharp in a compact, weather-sealed body.
The kit includes a fast NIKKOR Z 50mm prime lens, a classic standard focal length that delivers a natural perspective and a shallow depth of field for cinematic subject separation. It's an ideal everyday lens to start filming and shooting with right out of the box.
