Killed in transit by poor packaging. I would recommend this item if it was packaged correctly because this is a wonderful film. I hope someone at Best Buy is reading these one star reviews. This was my most anticipated steelbook of the year, and it would be nice if you treated the premium product I bought with respect by packaging this fragile metal case inside a box instead of a bubble mailer meant for plastic cases. Be wary of purchasing these from Best Buy as they will often not handle your sold-out products with care.

An amazing looking steel case for an amazing movie. Unfortunately, there's no Dolby Vision and ATMOS, even though it was released in Dolby Cinema. Go figure... However, the IMAX scenes do fill-in the entire screen.

Do I really need to say much about it? The 4K Blu-ray format for Oppenheimer LITERALLY sold out and Universal had to press more units. That alone should say how great the film is, especially the transfer itself. As someone who saw the film twice in IMAX on 70 mm film and the biggest difference I've noticed is that this transfer is more saturated, but that could be for a variety of reasons. The SteelBook is also pretty nice with the title deboss. If you can afford it, just buy the 4K Blu-ray, it's not worth getting the other formats to save a couple of dollars.

Destroyed. I was very excited to receive this steelbook and it is completely destroyed. broken hinge, loose discs, bent case …. and best buy has been no help whatsoever, outside of offering a refund. I do not want a refund, I want the item I paid for, in full, in a reasonable condition.

Fans of Oppenheim will not be disappointed. The actual steelbook is a beauty with debossed lettering for the title and nice matte finish. The A/V quality is superb with bass that will shake a whole house and the detail in the IMAX scenes is breathtaking! On top of all that, the Bonus Features are plentiful and very well done. A lot of thought and care went into this release and it shows. It's my new go to demo disc and a must own for home theater enthusiasts.

It's a shame that so many people got their Steelbooks damaged and are unable to replace them, but I was lucky enough to get mine undamaged and I've since had the pleasure of viewing this masterpiece in 4K! The resolution and HDR colors are exquisite and only elevate this phenomenal movie to even greater heights! I am so glad I was fortunate enough to order this day one and get it on launch day! This movie is probably the best of 2023! A must-see!

Product arrived damaged. The spine was broken and so far, the only remedy is to return the whole product (in its original unopened packaging? How would I know it was broken if I didn’t open it?) and pray that this disc will become stocked again. This is the biggest physical media release of the year, and Best Buy botched it with poor planning and even worse bubble mailer packaging. It’s a good thing they’re not selling physical media anymore if this is how they're going to ship them.

Christopher Nolan did an amazing job with the physical copy of Oppenheimer! The IMAX scenes are amazing!

Read the title. If I didn't have this steelbook I'd probably go clean the shotty one final time.. Hemingway style. I'm not even exaggerating. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I missed out on such an amazing once in a lifetime steel book. Shout out to Best Buy for shipping it in a box with packaging pillows. You guys really are the 'Best' (wink)

Shipping in a bubble wrap is an A+ move. No way anything bad happens during shipping. "Return it by [insert date here] and pray for a restock." Isn't customer service.

My favorite film of the year. Beautiful Steelbook! I love this alternate cover and the three discs were perfectly spaced apart. Very happy to get this one day before the official release date. And it came with a digital copy which is perfect for when I’m traveling!

When I first opened the package, I was scared that mines was going to turn out like the other horror stories i’ve seen, but nope! It’s in perfect condition, and I couldn’t be more happier to finally own my own copy of my favorite movie!

Great movie, excellent 4K transfer, beautiful steelbook. Too bad it shipped in an envelope and arrived split in two. Should have shipped it in a box. Sold out now, so no chance to get a replacement.

I was able to grab it when there was a small restock and it came early in great conndition and the steel book is beautiful for an amazing movie.
