The Ortur R1 is an ultra-portable 5W (5,000mW) blue-diode laser engraver that unfolds and runs in seconds — no assembly, no tools. Weighing just 2.4kg (about 5.3 lb) with a built-in carry handle, it engraves wood, leather, acrylic, glass and fabric and cuts up to 3mm basswood in one pass, all within a 100 x 100mm work area. A fine 0.025 x 0.11mm spot and up to 0.05mm accuracy at 5,000mm/min deliver clean, detailed results. Create straight from your phone with the free Ortur app — built-in editor, design library, 19+ fonts and multi-language support — or connect LightBurn or LaserGRBL, with an offline mode for engraving without a computer.
