The Nero HTX6150 is a 6-channel Class D power amplifier rated at 175W per channel into 4 ohms and 100W per channel into 8 ohms with all channels driven, not the single-channel figures most competitors publish. Adjacent channels bridge to produce 3 x 400W into 8 ohms, 2 x 400W plus 2 x 175W, or 1 x 400W plus 4 x 175W, so one chassis covers a wide range of system layouts from 3-channel through 6-channel. Two bridged channels can also serve as a subwoofer amplifier with frequency crossover and level control. A 105dB A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio at rated power provides exceptional dynamic range, and 12Hz to 39kHz frequency response extends well beyond the audible band. Fan-assisted cooling keeps the chassis stable in a closed rack, cabinet or credenza, while a switching power supply rejects RF from nearby electronics and the mains. RCA inputs, a 12V trigger, per-channel status LEDs and a ground terminal for troubleshooting hum are included.
175W x6 with All Channels Driven
Output is rated at 175W RMS per channel into 4 ohms and 100W per channel into 8 ohms with all six channels driven simultaneously at 1% THD, not with a single channel measured alone. Single-channel output reaches 200W at 4 ohms. The amplifier can achieve reference cinema levels of 105dB from every channel.
Configurable for 3, 4, 5 or 6 Channels
Adjacent channels bridge into 3 x 400W at 8 ohms, 2 x 400W plus 2 x 175W, or 1 x 400W plus 4 x 175W. Two bridged channels can drive a passive subwoofer with onboard crossover and level control, covering everything from a 5.1 theater to an outdoor system with four patio speakers plus a sub.
105dB Signal-to-Noise for Wide Dynamic Range
A 105dB A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio at rated power, 12Hz to 39kHz frequency response and a damping factor of 90 produce a silent background with firm speaker control. Low-level detail stays audible while peaks arrive without compression or audible distortion.
Fan-Assisted Cooling for Racks and Cabinets
Class D efficiency rated at 88 percent plus active fan cooling lets the amplifier run in closed racks, cabinets and credenzas where ventilation is restricted. The switching power supply rejects RF interference from nearby electronics and from mains noise, keeping the noise floor low in dense equipment stacks.
12V Trigger, Status LEDs and Ground Terminal
A 12V trigger provides remote power on and off for automated control systems. Per-channel LEDs indicate on, standby or protection status. A ground terminal assists with hum troubleshooting. Rack mountable, 15.16 by 16.81 by 3.46 inches, 110/120 or 220/240V, CE/UL certified, 2-year warranty.
